ELF High Definition Powder
Price: $6

product
Ingredient:
Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica.

My Experience with ELF HIGH Definition Powder:

ELF HD powder was just an impulsive buy for me during a sale. I just wanted to try how it works, so took the opportunity to try it.
swatch
It comes in a big bulky black plastic box, with a screw cap. There is a shifter to dispense the powder. And it comes with a white powder sponge. The powder sponge gets dirty very soon when we apply powder over foundation.
swatch
The product is a white powder which if finely milled and silky to touch. I like to use this product in following different ways
• To set concealer
• slightly dust over foundation to set it
• On a good skin day, I just use a little concealer under eyes and sparingly apply this powder all over face to matify.
swatch
It works in all these ways for me. When I use it to set my concealer it prevents the concealer from creasing without altering the shade. I have a combination skin and my t-zone need to be set with powder to avoid shine. When I use it over a foundation, it matifies instantly without altering the foundation color.

Most of the days, I just use a concealer and use this powder all over moisturized face. For this purpose I like to use the sponge over a powder brush. I take some powder on the sponge, tap of the excess and roll it on to the skin, and then follow it up with blush and lip product. That way my face stays matte and fresh for long time.

The powder does not have any coverage on its own but just brightens the face a little bit by diminishing the appearance of fine lines and pores. Thanks to the silica content in it.

If you have a dry to very dry skin, I would suggest you to stay away from this , as it might make the skin even more dry. I have a combination skin and it suites me well.

Pro’s of E.L.F. High Definition Powder

1. Multipurpose product
2. Affordable
3. Mattifies skin
4. Gives an illusion of reduced wrinkles and pores.

Con’s of E.L.F. High Definition Powder

1. There is fly out every time I open the box to use.
2. Bulky packaging. Not travel friendly.
3. Can make skin a little dry
4. Contains Silica

Final Word:
It is a good-to-have multi-purpose product but not a must-have. If you have oily or combination skin, you can enjoy this product. Dry skin beauties stay clear from this.

I got it from ELF website Melissa. You can get from other websites which ship o india too.

It is a loose powder. It does not contain talc in it. It contains silica which is main ingredient of most primers. So gives a smooth finish to your face, with out altering your base makeup.

It does not have any coverage on its own. But it brightens the face to an extend,. hope this helped..
