This is the last Elf Custom Eyeshadow out of my bulk purchase from Elf website. I bought 9 shadows and I can say with confidence that I absolutely adore these beauties because for just a dollar one gets a chance to choose a color of ones choice and make their own custom palette, the way I did. I bought these off of ELF website and I got a good deal on these. As they are not available in most stores, I was super excited to buy a bunch of these. Read further to know about this product.

My Take on ELF Moondust Custom Eyeshadow:

Packaging:
The usual packaging of a refill shadow pan. The shadow in a circular, 2mm deep pan that can be added to an empty palette to make custom palette. Nothing further to add, except that I liked the way it was packed before it was shipped. It kept the pan and shadow safe.

Texture:
It is a powder eye shadow set in a cake form, but is very smooth and easy to apply. Even though it has a mild shimmer, still it is smooth and does not feel gritty. It might be for a dollar, but it is very homogeneous and soft and gives an amazing color payoff. It has minimal fall out and can be used dry.

Color:
I love the color – green, gold and grey. It has a neutral tone color and can look good on all types of skin tone and can be worn with equal ease by all.

Pigmentation:
It has a very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tip on the shadow to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tip had picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look.

Wear time:
The wear time is 5-6 hours, after which it starts to crease. One can increase the wear time, if one uses primer or white eye shadow underneath.

Conclusion:
This is a very good product for the money paid and works better than other drug store eyeshadows. I bought nearly nine shadow pans to make my own custom palette. Elf site also sells empty palettes in which one can add the pans of their desired color, but I bought a better and cheaper one from a different site. They might be dirt cheap but all the shades in this range have a good review online.

• Not available in stores and have to order it online.

Would I Repurchase ELF Moondust Custom Eyeshadow?
No, because it will last me big time. But, I am planning to buy all the colors from this range, since they perform so well and are so smooth on my pocket. All those who love to experiment with new makeup, can customize it to suit their preferences and skin type and should give these shadow pans a fair try.
