Hope you are doing great. Diwali is over and the wedding season has started. November seems to be a month that is keeping me on my toes, to look great for all the events that are lined up. I am confused as to what I should wear and how I have to accessorize myself and look good with apt make up. Thanks to IMBB for loads of references. Shopping has become an inevitable part of me for all the events. I recently picked up few stuff from Faces and Maybelline counters. One such lip gloss that I purchased from Faces Go Chic range is Rose Shimmer 15 which has become a must have for me these days.

My Experience with Faces Go Chic Lip Gloss in Rose Shimmer 15:

Frankly this is my first purchase from Faces Canada. I was hovering over the Maybelline counter looking for some nice lip glosses. There were very few colors there and since the Faces counter was next to Maybelline counter I decided to check the colors there. I wanted something nice and different but not the usual reds, maroons or pinks. The browns were washing me off completely (thanks to a tiring day at work). The Rose shimmer attracted me with its mini shimmery particles and the mild coral color it carried.

When applied on my lips, the gloss felt light and imparted just the right amount of color to my lips. The gloss is not opaque and is not recommended for pigmented lips. The color appeared perfect for many occasions when I dint want to feel made up, at the same time appear presentable. Moreover, I felt that I can easily give any matte lipstick a glossy and shimmery finish by topping this gloss.

The packaging is neat, transparent and simple. The color appears to be light coral in the packaging. The applicator wand is decent and takes out just the right amount of gloss required for a single application. The gloss stays for a decent 2 -3 hours without food or drinks and does not bleed. I have tried it without any lip liner too. It’s quite moisturizing and does not settle between lines.

I have always given Faces counter a skip but I completely loved my experience there and will soon be checking for few more lip glosses there. May be some Mauves and Corals this time. 🙂
