Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo Review

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo Review

Hello my beautiful friends,

Hope all of you are enjoying good health and great state of mind.  Today, I am here to share another great drugstore hair care product from my favorite brand “Garnier Fructis.” It is the one and only brand (drugstore) which suits my hair and takes care of almost all of my hair care concerns.  I have been using Phyto Paris shampoo for a while as targeted treatment and grabbed this Garnier shampoo meanwhile to alternate with the same.  It works really well in conjunction with other hair treatments and products, hence a win-win in any case.

Garnier Fructis Shampoo

Price:

$4-$7 for 24.4 fl oz (750 ml), price may vary from store to store.

Packaging:

This transparent colorless, slightly thicker than water shampoo comes in a translucent orange plastic bottle packaging with a flip top opening. The translucent orange packaging is a fresh change from other green bottles. However, all these shampoos smell almost similar.  Overall, it’s user friendly and also available in smaller travel-size packaging.

My Experience with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo:

I love this range for their triple nourishing ingredients – avocado oil, olive oil and almond oil and also for showing amazing results.  However, I cannot deny that it is a chemically-formulated product and hence it may not be suitable for everyone. Thankfully, it is working well on my hair. It also claims to give strength and restore smoothness and shine which is completely true though I am not sure about its claim of treating split ends. I can see a few split ends, but they are of no worry to me when compared to other issues, and anyway, I can get rid of them.  My major concern was moderate but continuous hair fall apart from itchy scalp which has subsided up to a great extent with this shampoo.  Credit also goes to homemade remedies and my previous shampoo that helped a lot in dealing with hair fall. Not to forget, this Garnier Fortifying shampoo helped me in maintaining the luster and health of my hair with no side effects throughout treatment.

I am also impressed to notice that like my other Garnier shampoos, this also imparts healthy and lustrous shine to my hair strands giving them fuller, voluminous look overall and this voluminous effect stays for good 2-3 days post washing my hair and thereafter my hair looks flat, but the shine and luster stays put throughout.

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo

I only need a dime-sized amount for my medium length hair and this quantity effectively cleanses oil, dirt and grime of my hair without ripping off natural moisture from my scalp. I never experienced dry flakes or dandruff ever since I started using it every alternate week. Moreover, it works equally well on oil-treated hair.  I prefer oiling my hair a night before washing them and it gives me squeaky clean scalp and hair in one-time wash. I am obsessed with shiny and bouncy effect post washing and hence I always prefer Garnier hair care products in my regime.  It has not accentuated or aggravated my hair fall.  I get soft, shiny and lightweight hair.  I feel it will best suit dry and frizzy hair.  I am considering it for winters as well when my hair needs triple oil treatment. I highly recommend this shampoo to every gal who is struggling with dry and frizzy hair provided you are fine with this shampoo’s chemical formulation.

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo

Let’s sum up pros and cons:

Pros of Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo:

  • A lightweight fortifying shampoo infused with the goodness of three oils – avocado oil, olive oil and almond oil.
  • Does what it claims to do – strengthens hair strands, restores smoothness and shine in my hair.
  • A dime-sized amount is good enough to wash my medium length hair.
  • Effectively washes away oil, dirt and grime off scalp as well as hair without ripping off moisture.
  • Never causes the scalp to go dry, flaky or itchy.
  • Does not treat hair fall, but does not aggravate the condition either.
  • Works well in conjunction with any other hair care product or treatment.
  • Gives shiny, lustrous and voluminous hair.
  • Bouncy effect stays for 24-48 hours while the shine and luster stays put throughout the next wash.
  • Good for dry and frizzy hair.
  • Quite economic and user-friendly packaging.

Cons of Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo:

  • Does contain SLS.
  • Not naturally formulated.
  • May not help with hair fall issues.
  • I am not sure if it does anything for split ends.

Well, as of now, I am hooked to this shampoo and already decided to continue with it till summers arrive. I wish Garnier stops using SLS in their shampoos.  I would give it 3.9/5!

  1. Hi ladies,
Sounds like a good product. I had used their oil+shampoo 2 in a shampoo. N i hated it. It did not remove oil at all from my hair even after 3rd wash. I really loved their oil care conditioner though. It left my hair soooo smooth n soft.
Glad dis shampoo worked for u.
