I am back with an eyeshadow review for you all. I don’t really have much mauves in my eye shadow collection hence I went ahead and picked this trio up. Let’s talk more about the palette now 🙂

The Trio Matte Eyeshadow palettes are fun little compacts on the outside that pack a big punch of color on the inside for a great addition to your eyeshadow wardrobe. Three intensely pigmented, matte shades that will be all you need for all over lid, crease and outer corner.
My Experience with Kleancolor Thistle KC Eyeshadow Trio:
This eyeshadow palette has 3 different shades of mauve which can be used together to create a stunning matte mauve look (refer the swatches) or can be used individually as well. The packaging is black plastic with a clear top. There isn’t much to write about the packaging as it isn’t that great but is very handy to use. Also, there aren’t any brushes provided with the palette neither does it come with a mirror.
The shadows are very smooth to touch but are slightly powdery. There is a little bit of fallout but I’m willing to overlook it. There isn’t one shadow that doesn’t feel silky smooth to touch. These shadows are very well pigmented as you can see in the swatches. What I like about these shadows the most is that they blend really very well. The two looks that I created required flat 5 minutes to apply and blend in the shadows.
Let’s get to know the shadows individually now. The first shade is a very pale pink colour which looks almost like a creamy white shade with hints of pink. I have used this in the inner part of my lid to give it a diffused and well blended effect.
The second shade is a dusty rose colour, which looks stunning and since it is matte, I love it all the more. I have used this in the middle portion of my lid to create transition from light to dark mauve. The third shade is a plumy mauve colour that I have used in the outer V porting of my lid. Such a gorgeous shade and can be used to create stunning looks.
These shadows stay put on the lids for 6 hours easily. I did use a matte primer underneath but I guess they’ll show up just as good without a primer as well.
