The lipsticks don’t have a separate cover. You just have to twist them up. The little golden cover on.  the top is attached with the hinge on the side of the lipsticks and as you twists the lipstick from the bottom, the cutie cover opens up and there you have your lipstick inside. icon smile Lotus Herbals Floral Glam Lipsticks Photos and Swatches

The lipsticks are sooooo beautiful. They have a soft shine to them, have a soft fruity flavour and as of now they “look ” very moisturizing. I am loving the colour selection this time.

Which colours are you liking the most?

PS: The products shown in this entry were sent by the company/PR for consideration.

Trip was nice. Good break. :) Feling a lot refreshed now. Couldn’t take piccys because it was all hotchpotch there. Wore a radish pink- black saree. I forgot to take a pink shimmery shadow so did my eye makeup with the pink blush and had a black with me. :P It did stay on even in hot melting weather. :)

Howz you? :)

I am a little off maybelline these days. That white pencil has really scared me….You use it for a while and let me know. :)

yeah i know how one tends to lose faith in a brand. the colossal is working fine for me, except that it feels a bit sticky to touch even after it dries off. when i don’t touch it, it feels fine. and after a looong time, the lashes stick together and form triangles. you know what i mean? so i have to run my lash comb through them again. i love it as a starter mascara though, because it makes my lashes look very, very good without any major hassles.
and the lash curler *sigh!!* what was i doing all this while without it?
i’ll definitely tell you how the pencil worked for me. it’s super smudgy and since it costs so less, i gave in to the shop assistant’s insistence.

I get you exactly what you are saying. You have a long way to go as far as mascaras are concerned. :P Until a few months back, I never realized that mascaras and lash curlers could be so important part of makeup. Boy!! they are real addictions and you tend to bend for the best mascara in the market. he he

Couldn’t take the saree picture. It was pretty crazy there. :(

Pretty!! .. Nude glow , mauve and o’orange my fav. Rati please tell me how many times did you swatch them over one place? I mean how pigmented are they??

Reply

Rati July 10, 2010 at 1:14 pm

Puja, the best part about these lippies are that they are buildable. They are swatched one time . I mean I can wear them as sheer wash of colour on my lips and as a deep full coverage lispticks also. Will do a through review next week or so and you would be able to see the colours better.

There is a huge difference between the colours since the last time. last time there were a few that could be worn regularly. This time you have a choice to pick up a lot. :)

They always listen to our feedbacks. :)

Hi Rati……..I bought the Apple Berry shade 4 days ago. You know me what a sucker I am for anything that’s new. I was wondering whether you knew abt these new lippers by now. The push up case is similar to the Avon Pro-To-Go lipstick, but the Avon one is much slimmer. This is the only range of Avon I dont have as yet.

Reply

Rati July 10, 2010 at 8:47 pm

How are you doing , Sabrina? :)

The lipsticks are really nice. Wore sensuous mauve toady adn it went on really well on lips. Even lasted long enough. :)

Oh!! didn’t know they were similar to the Avon lippies. This is for the first time I seeing a packaging like this. And I have o say that i am already sold. :P

Sabrina July 12, 2010 at 4:26 am

Hi Rati, I’m fine now thanks. Last night, I was applying the Lotus Apple Berry lipstick and…………..it broke, right from the bottom. I am taking it back tomorrow. Feeling so bad, it was such a nice shade, and esp. coz it had some shimmer to it (you know how I love that). Check out the Avon Pro To Go lipsticks at http://www.in.avon.com. These Lotus ones are a ‘fat’ version of the Avon ones.

Rati July 12, 2010 at 10:39 am

oh!! that’s sad, Sabrina. :( This heat is really taking toll on our makeup products. :( I store them in dark area of my cupboard , I am so scared all my nice lippies would break or melt. :(

he he…will check out Avon as well. :P

Hi Rati……..Returned the Lotus lipstick which broke, they were offering me another shade or any other Lotus l/s, but I was apprehensive abt it breaking again, so I settled for something else for that price from another brand……..feeling bad coz I really liked the shade.

Rati July 13, 2010 at 9:09 am

I just hope that i don’t face the same problem. however I thought yoou should have bought the other piece. Sometimes some of the pieces get defected during transportation and all…

Glad you could still exchange the lipstick. :)
