Today I am going to review the third shade from ‘Natio’s rich lip colour’ range which is my favorite shade out of this lot and that would obviously be ‘Pomegranate’.

Shelf Life: 3 years/18 months from time of usage

Product Description:

How to use product:
Apply directly onto lips. When the retractable tip gets low, simply twist the bottom of the crayon and the rounded lip colour end will extend.

My Experience with Natio Rich Lip Colour – Pomegranate:

I was quite disappointed with ‘Pomegranate’ for I expected to see something similar from the Nivea’s fruity shine range. I am a huge fan of Nivea’s fruity shine lip balms as they totally live up to their expectations in terms of color, fragrance and performance and my favorite out of the lot like any of you is none other than ‘Pomegranate’, followed by ‘Pink Guava’ and ‘Watermelon’. The moral behind this story is I tend to get inclined to anything that spells ‘Pomegranate’ or ‘Watermelon’. Now that is how my expectations for this particular shade shot up but to know how it did according to me, let’s move on to the details without any further delay.

Packaging: These lip crayons are short retractable chubby sticks that are highly travel-friendly and easy to spot. The outer packaging reflects the inner shade it contains. There is nothing fancy or extravagant about the packaging for the money you pay. The upside to the packaging is there is no product wastage and the downside is the ingredient list that I could not find.

Color: Speaking of the shade, ‘Pomegranate’, I expected something more intense like on the red side but on the contrary it is a pretty peach-pink.

If you need a cool-summer pink that is not a harsh pink like ‘Cranberry’ and neither a bright coral like ‘Watermelon’, then this one is your MLBB from this range. It also does justice in covering medium pigmented lips. Maybe a single swipe would do the job. Lip swatches although shot in natural light may vary and look an ounce brighter.

Texture and finish: The texture is smooth and creamy and glides super soft on your lips more so when you have layered up your lips with a neat lip balm beneath. Although the texture and feel of the lip crayon is non-drying, I prefer to exfoliate lips before. The finish it delivers is a smooth semi-matte that has no shimmers to it. The finish of this lip crayon can satisfy both gloss/matte lip lovers in my opinion which I think is a huge advantage of this lip product range.

Pigmentation and staying power: The pigmentation of all shades is impressive irrespective of the color. That is the part that totally is true to what the product claims. Like any other shade from this range, ‘Pomegranate’ also offers a creamy opaque coverage that eventually creases leaving natural uneven stains. This lasts a good snack and you can say bye-bye to color with a meal.

All in all, this particular shade impressed me for simply being the shade it is. It is neither a bright pink harsh berry shade like ‘Cranberry’ nor a ‘bright peach’ like ‘Watermelon’. So if you want pick just one shade from this shade, I would say pick ‘Pomegranate’.

• Contains a disappointing synthetic fruity scent that is nothing close to its name.
• Transfers a lot and stains heavily.
• Uneven lip stains that are tough to remove.
• Missing ingredient list.
• Low staying power.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Natio Rich Lip Colour – Pomegranate?
No, I would not repurchase this shade as I have a lot of similar shades in my lip kit that would take me God’s age to get done with! I recommend you to purchase this semi-matte finish lip crayon if you are certain that you like this shade.
