My Experience with Nature’s Essence Lip Rich Colored Moisturizing Stick Strawberry:
The lip balm comes in a cardboard packet that bears almost all necessary details about the product on its backside. This packet is red and white in color, same as the color of the lip balm tube. The lip balm tube is red and white in color. The long, red colored cap fits tightly with an audible click, making this lip balm fit for travel purposes. The lip balm has a typical twist up base that works pretty smoothly. There is a sticker at the base that has some product related information on it. Overall, the packaging is fine but not fancy.
The lip balm has a red creamy core with a red colored outer layer. The red colored lip balm bullet looks so bright and beautiful. But, its pigmentation is very sheer. Hence, the color is difficult to notice even after multiple swipes. It gives a sheer red tint to the lips. The color looks natural and fresh, but it does not look good on pigmented lips. The lip balm looks glossy on the lips. It has a nice and refreshing fruity fragrance but it does not exactly smell like strawberries. The smell is non-bothering and mild. The fragrance fades away within a minute or two. The lip balm does not have any taste to it.
The texture of the lip balm is quite smooth and creamy. It glides all over the lips easily. The lip balm bullet makes the application easier. It does not feel waxy or heavy on the lips. So, I quite like the texture of this lip balm. The formula is very moisturizing, and it helps to keep my lips hydrated and nourished for long. The formula is moisturizing and helps to heal chapped lips with a few uses. The lip balm comes with SPF 30 that makes it good enough to be used under the sun.
The lip balm is not very long-lasting as the product claims. The 12-hour claim is simply too far fetched. It hardly stays for some 3-4 hours on my lips with little eating or drinking. On the other hand, the color gets ripped off completely after a full meal. Though my lips stay hydrated for more time, I still prefer reapplication as I am a lip balm junkie, and I do not mind that.
Overall, the quality of the lip balm is great with a decent price tag.
