NYC Liquid Lipshine Lipgloss in Chelsea Pink and Soho Peach

Hello Beautifuls..

Hope all of you are enjoying your days! I am back again with couple of my purchases from NYC. I guess these are my only products from NYC (as I could not locate any other stuff on my messy stash) which were waiting to get their share of love and attention on IMBB lol! So here I come with another shimmery pink and subtle peach gloss from liquid lipshine range. Please read on further to know more about NYC liquid lipshine lip glosses “Chelsea pink” and “Soho peach” respectively.

Price: $2.49 for 0.24 fl oz (7.2 ml), price may vary store to store.

Product Description: Have you heard the gossip? There’s a new gloss in town! NYC New York Color Liquid Lip Shine is getting headlines with seriously high-drama color at a seriously low price. Pure pigments give a 3-D effect that’s off-the-charts glossy. Tons of hot new shades, from preppy nudes to bold statement hues – all for less than your weekly fashion magazine.

Packaging: These shimmery glosses are available in the usual transparent plastic tube packaging with black cap. The travel friendly packaging looks classy and gives clear idea of shade inside. It does have faint vanilla fragrance which is not overpowering and usually fades after sometime.

My take on NYC Liquid Lipshine Lipgloss in Chelsea Pink and Soho Peach:

I am not into neutral shades much and reach for them on occasions when I simply miss my train and I need to rush for next task lol.. 😛 I am more impressed by the fact that almost all shades from liquid lipshine range are more or less shimmery yet they never give frosty or cheap look like their lipsticks. The texture is way better than many decent drugstore glosses they are neither sticky nor runny or feel tacky on my lips. Staying power is really good, nearly 4-6 hours even with neutral and sheer glosses. I feel they are sticky enough to last longer without settling on lip crevices or feathering around while pursing lips together. I feel they are a good deal even with those glitters which are too subtle to look frosty. I never felt any dryness or irritation while wearing these glosses in fact; I feel soft and hydrated lips for good hours. Talking about my shades today:

Chelsea Pink: It seems an intense shimmery pink gloss with hint of fuchsia when seen on tube, but way sheer and subtle on lips surprisingly! It is a perfect pink n*de yet shimmery gloss for everyone I feel. It is perfect for college and office gals who wish to look natural and sober with glitter make up. It will compliment any skin tone as it is too sheer to give any color pay off apart from subtle glitters and pink sheen. However, it gives slight pink pigmentation in 2-3 swipes; it is a nay for pigmented lips though!

Soho Peach: It seems golden peach shimmery gloss in tube while it is way subtle and almost neutral peach on lips with sparkles. It would compliment any skin tone as I cannot figure out its actual peach pigmentation on lips other then subtle n*de peach glossy sheen with soft sparkles on my lips. It can give buildable pigmentation in 2-3 swipes though. It is a nay for pigmented lips again!

Pros of NYC Liquid Lipshine Lipgloss in Chelsea Pink and Soho Peach:

• Juicy, soft balmy glosses with shimmery touch which are perfect n*des in pink and peach.
• They are lightweight and way subtle and sheer even with glitters.
• The texture is neither thick nor runny just perfect to stay longer on lips without giving tacky/sticky feel to lips while pursing them together.
• It does not accentuate dry lips nor settles in lip crevices.
• I never used lip balm while wearing them or post removing them off my lips.
• As long as they stay on my lips I feel soft, plumped and hydrated lips.
• Despite of their sheer glossy sheen on lips, they stay for good 4-6 hours with light meal.
• Considering their texture, subtle pigmentation even with shimmers, perfect summery neutral shades in pinks and peach apart from attractive packaging which does not look cheap from any angle, I believe it is a steal undoubtedly.

Cons of NYC Liquid Lipshine Lipgloss in Chelsea Pink and Soho Peach:

• They do transfer on cutlery and cups.
• Both shades are too subtle to conceal pigmented lips

Honestly I do not have any issue with these glosses, they are affordably cheap and light on pocket, and I believe every beginner would love to try it out apart from glitter lovers who wish to look natural even with those high shine sparkles! I am not into neutrals and glitters surprisingly but I wear them very often just for a change from my regular heavy shades as they look so natural and not only compliment my skin tone but my outfit as well. Not to forget my young sisters and sis in laws who vouch for these pocket money friendly glosses lol..
