Sometime back, I reviewed NYC Smooch Proof 16H Lip Stain, and today I am going to review NYC Smooch Proof Long Wearing Lip Color in Rebel. Both these lip colours were bought at the same time for the same reason, because I wanted a long lasting lip colour.

My Experience with NYC Smooch Proof Long Wearing Lip Color: Rebel

This lip colour is available in many beautiful colours and I bought mine in “Rebel,” which is a nice brownish pink.  This colour goes well with almost every look, from formal to casual.  The texture of the colour is very sticky, but the glossy top coat vanishes that sticky feeling.

This lip colour is really a long-lasting colour, it stays on my lips for forever (8-10 hours with meals, snacks and drinks). It is totally transfer proof also. Whenever I use this lip colour, no colour stain comes on my coffee cup or juice glass. The colour has a matte finish.  Some days, when I don’t need the shiny glossy look, I just apply the colour. Using only the colour feels sticky in the beginning, but after an hour or so, that stickiness reduces.

The top coat gloss is transparent and adds shine to lips. It makes lip appear fuller too. I totally love this lip colour for its staying power.  The only thing I don’t like about this lip color is that it fades unevenly and it is very difficult to remove also. One has to use an oil-based makeup remover, as this lip colour doesn’t disappear even with soap or face wash.
