My Experience with NYX Brush On Silver Plum Lip Gloss:

Packaging:
The brush On lip glosses from NYX come in a rectangular tube packaging. It’s made out of clear plastic so you can easily spot the colour in your stash. The applicator is pretty long. The brush is kind of stiff and tapers at the end. It has a very different brush than most lip glosses. The packaging is sleek and the product doesn’t leak out, so it is travel friendly.

Colour/Pigmentation:
Silver Plum is another beautiful shade from the NYX glosses that I own. It’s a very different shade. It has certain hints of brown, pink and red in it, of course with a lot of shimmer. It’s very difficult to explain the proper colour, but it’s a beautiful shade that will go well with every skin tone. I love the pigmentation of this gloss. You can totally build up the colour up to your liking. The application is often streaky when wearing it sheer due to the brush. Hence, either you have to use a finger or purse your lips for smooth application. No such problem is faced when wearing boldly. The gloss is super glossy and makes your lips look very juicy.

Texture:
The texture is creamy enough. It’s neither too thick nor too thin. It’s sticky, but the right kind of sticky. The shimmers are very finely milled so you won’t feel them when you purse your lips. The gloss moisturises my lips very well when it’s on. It doesn’t exactly hydrate, but my lips do not feel dry after I remove this either.

Staying Power:
It stays for about 3 hours. It fades with a meal. This gloss doesn’t leave a stain behind and it transfers easily.

Smell/Taste:
I do not like the smell of this gloss too. I don’t know why NYX lip glosses have awful smell! :/ If you know what pineapple flavoured kid’s Pepsodent smells like, you can imagine what I am talking about here. No taste, thankfully!

It’s a unique shade that can be worn by every age group and this shade will suit mostly all skin tones! Apart from the smell, I don’t have any problem with it!
