Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo intensely revitalizes, moisturizes and repairs damage to hair. The new formulation contains keratin damage blockers which protect hair from oxidative damage. It leaves hair smooth, soft and manageable.
Packaging:
The packaging is simple and travel friendly. The ivory colored bottle is typical of most Pantene shampoos with a flip open cap that shuts with a reassuring click. All the details are printed on the bottle. I carried it on my trip and it got tossed in my cabin luggage, and there was no leakage!
My Experience with Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo:
I haven’t used Pantene shampoos for ages! There was a time I used Dove and Pantene shampoos, but now I use many brands. So coming back to this brand is sheer nostalgia. The shampoo has the signature Pantene scent. The shampoo is pearly white in color, with medium consistency. It is neither too thick nor runny, and is exactly just how I like my shampoos to be. I dilute it with water before using and it creates a rich foamy lather.
It cleanses my hair very well, without drying it out. Oiled hair needs a couple of washes to get rid of the oil and grime. I like how it helps me get rid of dirt, without weighing my hair down, or even drying it out. My sensitive scalp seems at ease with this shampoo. My hair feels soft and bouncy. There is also a subtle shine to my hair. Although I wouldn’t recommend skipping a conditioner, you can make do without it too.
It doesn’t remove frizz or give completely tangle-free hair, but is good as a regular drugstore shampoo at this price. I didn’t expect much, but I am enjoying it while it lasts. The downside is that it is loaded with chemicals. The scary list intimidates me, so I might opt for SLS & Paraben free shampoos again.
