Today’s review is on Sephora Collection 10HR Perfection Foundation. No doubt, I absolutely love foundations because a foundation/BB cream and a lipstick are the only cosmetics that I use in everyday life. But I won’t be able to use much of Sephora Collection 10HR Perfection Foundation (a sweet gift from a friend) because the shade doesn’t match my skin tone, but other than that, you gotta know whether this foundation is worth the money 🙂

How to choose the right foundation shade:
- Pinkish complexion: Beige tone.
- Yellowish complexion: Slightly pinkish tone.
- Matte complexion: Avoid beige which gives a greyish hue; choose a matte beige tone with a light hint of apricot.

My Experience with Sephora Collection 10 Hr Wear Perfection Foundation:
Starting with the packaging, it resembles Lancome foundations to a great extent. Sephora Collection 10HR Perfection Foundation comes in a sturdy glass bottle with pump and a cap. The packaging is perfect; very functional and the best pump to dispense the right amount of the foundation.
Sephora Collection 10HR Perfection Foundation has a slightly creamy texture and ideal consistency. It isn’t runny or too dense; so it blends with perfection with fingers, brush or sponge. If you are in a rush and want to save on product and time, blend with fingers. When you desire an air-brushed look, use tools/brushes. Either way, it gives a completely natural finish. The coverage is medium yet buildable without looking cakey. It covers most of the blemishes, scars and redness. For severe marks, you can use a concealer for a flawless look.
Sephora Collection 10HR Perfection Foundation evens out skin tone and is infused with antioxidants and vitamin E for a youthful look. It doesn’t result in streaks, but requires a light moisturiser to go on smoothly and to prevent dry patches. It slightly blurs pores and doesn’t oxidise. Also, it doesn’t turn my t-zone into an oil factory. The wearing time is excellent, lasts up to 9 hours at least, and the brand’s claims are true in this regard. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines and wrinkles.
The shade range is really good and the website states guidelines for choosing a shade. For yellow undertones, the shades with a (Y) are developed. This particular shade that I received is a pink under-toned shade and it makes me look ashy, but I really love the quality of the foundation.
