Lip crayons are surely the cutest makeup product ever and I just love collecting them because they are just so easy to use. I had tried one red shade last year from this range called Red-dy or Not, and I was left totally amazed by that shade. Here is one more similar shade called “Red-Ioactive”. Let’s see how this one worked for me.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Red-Ioactive MegaSlicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour:
Packaging: The mega slicks balm stain lip colours are crayon form lip colours and I am a crazy lover of lip crayons because they are so cute. The packaging is colour coded which makes it really easy for me to pick the one I want to apply for the day. This one comes in a pretty red packaging which looks very pretty. It is very handy and I am glad that the cap does not get separated. These are very handy as well. The twisty thing works very well and the quantity is also great. But the best part about these is the price, they cost just 2.99 dollars each. I mean ,these are just a steal at that price!
Shade: The shade “Red-ioactive” initially looked like a muted and a subtle red, but it takes a few seconds to intensify. It turns into a nice bold yet a wearable red with lots of pink and maroon hints; these hints make this colour pretty unique from the regular reds. I love wearing this red since it is something that is not restricted to parties or evening-wear. I can nicely wear it for a day-time event as well. This red is perfectly suitable for all the age groups and all the skin-tones too. It gives hydration like a lip balm and colour like a lipstick. What could be better than that?
Texture and pigmentation: The texture is super smooth and glides on easily without causing any problem. The formula is a semi-matte one. It has a glossy shine to it which makes it even more noticeable, and once the colour goes off, the stain is matte. The creamy formula and the bold colour appear on the lips in just one swipe, like literally one swipe. The pigmentation is highly amazing.
But I apply 2 swipes to make the colour more noticeable and intense. It looks a bit uneven initially, but later, it just takes 2 minutes to settle down. After that, the colour becomes even and perfect. It does settle a little into the fine lines, but it isn’t that prominent. Also, it might just transfer a little initially since the creamy formulas work that way. But, once it turns into a stain, it stays put.
Staying power: The lip colour stays on my lips for about 5-6 hours and the stain stays on for the entire day. The stain is a very pretty one and is super bold, unlike the other 2 shades that I picked. It makes the lips look really healthy. The lip colour is very hydrating and there is no need of a lip balm actually. It does not highlight chapped lips even after it turns into a stain. But, the only issue with this is the removal part; I have to rub my lips like very hard to get the stain off. It causes a lot of tugging and pulling. But, at that price, I don’t have much to complain about!

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Wet n Wild Red-Ioactive MegaSlicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour?
I will prefer to get “Red-dy or Not” over this, but I totally liked this one as well! Surely waiting to try more shades from them.
