6 Things I Took to Gulmarg with Me

gulmarg packing

We went to Gulmarg yesterday. Gulmarg is a around 90 minute drive from Srinagar. I thought I’d quickly show you the essentials I carried with me in my bag.

  • Lotus Herbals Sunscreen SPF 70 : Since we were going to be in Gulmarg the whole day, I decided to skip any face makeup and rather went with a high SPF tinted sunscreen. It evened out my skin tone and gave me high sun protection, which I definitely needed. The sun was super harsh up there.
  • Maybelline Baby Lips : Definitely needed a lip balm through out.
  • A hand cream : My hands tend to get dry a lot but they felt drier during the trip. Hand cream really helped.
  • Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Calypso : Because that was the lipstick I was wearing during that day. 🙂
  • Nuts and Peanuts : Cold weather really makes you hungry. During the drive, rather than munching on the chips I preferred munching on dry fruits and peanuts.
  • A pair of sunglasses : A must have

Hope this post helps those who plan to make short trips to colder regions. 🙂
