A bit of eyeliner on your eyes can change the look of your face in no time. There are so many variations of eyeliner techniques nowadays. Let’s find out about some of them and how you can achieve those looks in no time.
1. The classic eyeliner
This is the basic eyeliner application technique that we all use on most of the days. Use a black/brown eyeliner and use it to line your top lids from inner corner to outer corner of your eyes. You can thicken the line as you go towards the outer corner.
2. Double-winged eyeliner
If you want to go a step further from the classic look, then try the double-winged eyeliner look. Use a gel liner to line your upper lash line. Wing it outwards using a scotch tape. Then you can easily double up the drama by creating an additional smaller wing on your bottom lash line.
3. Metallic eyeliner
This is definitely apt for those night parties to up the glam quotient. Apply your usual black eyeliner and then use a metallic pencil in silver, bronze or gold to line along your eyeliner. You can use a metallic eyeliner solely on your lower eye lids too.
4. Cut-out cat eyeliner
This is a step further from your usual cat-eye look. Apply a liquid liner along the lash line and flick it outwards for a winged tip. Now start from the centre of your crease and connect the lines on the outer edge of your eye.
5. Heavy liner look
This is a very dramatic and clean look. Just apply the normal eyeliner as you usually do but winging it a little as you go towards outer corner. Now start at the tip of your wing and draw a curved diagonal line across your eyelid to the inner corner of your eye. The next step would be to fill in the gap and that’s about it.
6. White eyeliner
White makes you look wide awake and also draws attention to your eyes. Start by applying white eyeliner on the inner corner of your eyes and work your way outward to the middle of your lashes. Finish up with oodles of mascara. You can also layer this up with a black eyeliner for more drama.
7. Puppy eye look
This is a new fad which makes the eye look sweeter, rounder and bigger. Use black pencil eyeliner and line your upper lash line from about mid-eye. When you reach the end of the eye, begin to extend the line downwards. Then line your outer lower lash line to meet the upper lash liner, forming a triangle. Fill the little triangle in, and then layer with a black liquid liner.
8. Upside down cat eye
In this look, you are accentuating the bottom lash line and not the upper one. Line the lash line with an eyeliner by starting at the inner corner of your eye and moving outwards. Then use a liquid liner and an extra thin liner brush to draw a line diagonally starting just outside your inner eyelid. Then fill in the area between the lower eyelid and the line.
