Okay, so let me get this straight! I have been obsessed with shower gels this summer and I bought quite a lot, ranging from basic drugstore to high end ones. Right now, my bathroom shelf has more shower gels than all of the other products put together. And, if you’re looking for a fully worked out Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Shower Gel review then you, dear reader, have landed into the review by a pro in shower gels and body washes!
Product Description:
Pour Femme embodies the essence of the Dolce & Gabbana woman: passionate, sensual and seductive, confident and aware of her own beauty. The fragrance epitomizes Mediterranean harmonies and contrasts. Nuances of Raspberry give way to the addictive qualities of the sugary ‘Guimauve’ and full-bodied sensuality of the Vanilla base notes.

My Experience with Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Shower Gel:
It comes in a gorgeous packaging and the first thing that crossed my mind after seeing it was how adorable it could be as a gift…for your girl, mom, sister, wife or a friend. And, they are going to love it if they have normal to oily skin. I would not recommend it to anybody with a dry skin though (unless they use a body lotion or oil followed by a shower). So, what you see when you screw open the cap is a transparent gel formulation, a really runny textured actually, which foams decently and leaves behind a mild fragrance that lingers around for about 3-4 hrs.
Now, the fragrance, and oh my god, it smells amazing! It’s not too sweet and fruity, but it’s not very bold and strong either. It’s kind of unique and sexy and something you would go for before a date night or a candle light dinner or some other special occasion. I always find myself sniffing my hands later if I have used it in the shower earlier.
So, after using it for about 10-12 times, I HAVE to say that this is not a product which would do wonders to your skin and, to be honest, my skin looks and feels the same way as before (not that the company really claims to do so, but you still have those expectations from such a high-end product). BUT, you will definitely love this product at your evening pamper sessions at home where, you know, you just want to feel relaxed and smell good.
Pros of Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Shower Gel:
• Smells AMAZING!
• Does not cause breakouts
• Safe for acne- prone skin
• Does not cause irritation or redness of skin. (which was quite shocking for me because I was sceptical as it contains more perfume than an average body wash would)
• Pulls out oil from the pores, so it is good for people having oily or combination skin
Cons of Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Shower Gel:
• Makes skin slightly dry over a long term of use. So, not suitable for dry skin
• Doesn’t work much on improving the skin quality or its texture
• The cap makes it a little dysfunctional to use as the shower gel is really runny; a pump dispenser could have been much better
Would I Repurchase Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Shower Gel?
No, not for myself (because I have really dry skin on hands and waist area), but I would definitely consider it as a present for a friend.

Truly droolworthy packaging.
This is pure luxury Saumya (which I don’t mind!). Love everything from packaging to how they have described its notes.
Pure luxury Saumya, no doubt but I have dry skin so I guess I should not pick this one up. I reallyyyy like it though
