Laneige is a Korean brand known for the excellent skincare and makeup. I love BB cushions for their natural coverage and travel-friendly compacts. Laneige BB cushions are very well known, so I thought I will try their pore control bb cushion. I also got a refill with the bb cushion. So, it was a good deal for the price. Let’s see how the bb cushion fared:

Product Description:

How To Use:
Step 1-Take a small amount of the product with the puff and gently stroke along skin texture; gently dab to improve the finish. Apply another layer for more coverage.
Step 2-If the product does not seep out when you press down on the cushion, replace the empty cartridge with a refill.
My Experience with Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control SPF 50+ PA+++:
Packaging: This BB cushion comes in a slim white compact. The top of the compact has a holographic effect to it. Inside the compact, there is a good-sized mirror. The compact houses a small navy blue coloured puff. The puff is dense, smooth and a little less spongy. As in the puff doesn’t soak up too much of the product. I really like the puff because it gives me a smooth and even finish. The cushion that holds the bb cream has a diamond pattern to it unlike regular bb cream. This diamond pattern allows the product to be evenly dispensed on the puff. Overall, the packaging of the BB cushion is beautiful, compact and travel friendly.
Shades: One of the major problems with Korean BB cushion is the shade selection. However, Laneige bb cushion has a wide range compared to other Korean brands. There are 9 shade in total, varying from No 13 Ivory to No 37 Cacao. I purchased the shade “23 Sand,” which is a bit light for my light medium skin tone, but over time, the shade adjusts to my skin tone.
Texture and Quality: The BB cream has a liquid texture. The cream blends smoothly on the face. The puff blends the product evenly on my skin to give a natural finish. The bb cream is semi matte in texture. The cream doesn’t look patchy or cakey on my skin. It has a good amount of moisture. I really love this lightweight, smooth formula. There is no white cast and the product has a nice faint floral scent. It doesn’t clog my pores. It also has SPF 50+ PA+++ which protects my skin from the sun.
Coverage: This BB cushion provides light to medium coverage. It hides my uneven skin tone and redness. However, my freckles and dark circles do peak through. I need to use a concealer if I need a higher coverage. The bb cream actually covers my pores really well. This cushion makes my skin look even and fresh. I can easily build up the coverage by layering it up. I do prefer natural coverage for everyday use so this is a perfect product for me.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this bb cream. It stays on for around 6 to 7 hours without oxidizing. Since it has a semi-matte finish, it stays put on my oily skin without making it shiny. This product is awesome for the winter season. It moisturizes my skin and gives it a nice natural finish. I have used bb cushions from brands like Misha, Maybelline, L’Oréal and by far this is my favourite bb cushion for its longevity, natural finish and coverage.
