My Experience with Yves Rocher Botanical Scrub:

Packaging: The body scrub comes in a tube with a flap lid. I love the tube packaging better than the tub packaging. Normally, scrubs come in a tub packaging which I find is a little messy, especially using it while traveling or in the shower. I feel the tube is more hygienic and it creates no mess. The tube is easy to squeeze and one can control the amount discharged.

The product has gel-like consistency with a lot of grains. The grains are of right size and easy to use. The product is not greasy, which is a big plus if you are the one cleaning the bathrooms. The shower cubicle is not left slippery, and hence, one can simply use and wash it away with water.

The grains or the beads are made of apricot kernels. The grains are all natural, which makes using the scrub a totally pleasurable experience. I used twice the walnut sized amount for my entire body. The grains are pretty effective and strong. Though, they do not dissolve as you scrub. Initially, I scrubbed it hard and it irritated my skin a little. My skin also turned red. I do not blame the product but my method of scrubbing. I have a sensitive skin and this was bound to happen. So now, I use the scrub with a light hand and enjoy the process.

The fragrance is like of fermented juice. I loved the smell of it. The fragrance does not last long after washing it off but feels good while using it.

The skin feels rejuvenated, smooth and extremely soft after use. I can feel all the dead cells being washed away. I use it once a week even though it can be used twice a week. Since my skin is sensitive, I tend to use it just once. I feel so clean after using the scrub. Since it’s not oil based, I feel I have to use a moisturizer immediately after using the scrub.

Scrub Yves Rocher Botanical Scrub Review

Overall, it’s a brilliant exfoliate which gives a soft, smooth, fresh-looking skin. It is a perfect way to treat your skin during the weekends.

This can be used on body and face. I prefer to use it on the body only since it’s too strong for my face. The fragrance is not feminine, and so can be used by both men and women.

Pros of Yves Rocher Botanical Scrub:

  • Lovely fragrance
  • Leaves skin smooth, soft and clean
  • All organic
  • Great way to exfoliate the skin
  • Tube packaging more convenient and hygienic
  • Not greasy and hence safe to use in bath tub or shower cubicle

Cons of Yves Rocher Botanical Scrub:

  • Skin needs moisturizing after use (especially for dry skin)
  • Need to use it with light hand since the scrub is pretty strong, or else the skin will get irritated

IMBB Rating: 4.8/5
