There are times when you buy products only to review them on IMBB. I recently came across that moment 🙂 I wanted to buy a few things, and I ended up buying a lot of stuff from Yves Rocher. Online shopping is surely a pocket burner. I will be reviewing them one by one for you. Today’s review is all about Yves Rocher Bouncy Curls Treatment Shampoo.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Bouncy Curls Treatment Shampoo:
Yves Rocher Bouncy Curls Treatment Shampoo comes in a green coloured bottle with a brown cap. The design is similar to all the shampoo variants from Yves Rocher. The quantity is quite big, and it can easily go on for 2-3 months with continuous usage. The cap is tight, and thus the bottle is travel-friendly. There is a lot of information on the back of the product. The product is not sealed, and the only downside of the Yves Rocher products is the difficulty in opening the cap. The flip cap is so tight that I use the screw cap instead. The flip cap can easily break the soft nails in the shower.
The bottle is translucent so, one can see the quantity of the product left inside. The shampoo is gel-like and is transparent. The shampoo is a bit thick but spreads easily. Also, it lathers quite well. It has a mild floral fragrance, which lingers only for a short period.
The shampoo is formulated for curly hair. I have wavy hair and wanted to try a shampoo meant for curly hair to retain the natural texture as most of the shampoos make my hair straighter. The shampoo cleanses the hair really well. And, a little product is more than enough for cleansing my hair. The shampoo also cleanses the oil from my hair in a single go. While washing off, I didn’t feel anything great. Once my hair dries, I expected that the shampoo would do some justice, but unfortunately, it didn’t soften the hair. Instead, it made my hair drier.
By the end of the day, my hair started to look very rough and dull. So, following up with a conditioner is a must, and without a good conditioner, it damages the hair even more. The shampoo doesn’t remove the tangles either. The shampoos that I have tried before usually make my hair manageable as women with curly hair always have issues with knots and tangles but, this shampoo didn’t live up to its claims.
It does retain the natural texture of the hair but, I don’t want to compromise this aspect with dull and damaged hair. The product is made of natural ingredients and doesn’t contain parabens. I have an oily scalp, and my hair looked oil-free for almost three days. Overall, the shampoo would be suitable for those who have curly and oily hair.

- Doesn’t make hair smooth or soft.
