‘Today’s review will be on a lip balm. I wanted more lip balms in my collection because I am constantly wearing matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks which makes my lips super dry. So, I got a few lip balms and this Alba Botanica is one of them.

My Experience with Alba Botanica Un-Petroleum Vanilla SPF 18 Lip Balm:
This lip balm comes in a purple packaging. The packaging is very simple with the product details printed all around the body. The cap opens and shuts with a click. The cap is really small and tiny and I’ve already nicked the lip balm a couple of times while opening and closing. I wish they had a bigger cap, but that’s not a huge problem.
The lip balm is a dull yellow-coloured balm. The lip balm is just slightly bit on the thicker side. I like the consistency of this lip balm. It has a very smooth texture. It glides very easily on the lips. I like the slightly thicker formula because then it doesn’t move around too much. It stays put for a very long time.
Lip balms with such consistency can be used under lipsticks and liquid lipsticks because it won’t change the finish of the product. This lip balm doesn’t give a shiny appearance to the lips. It provides just the slightest bit of sheen to the lips. It has a vanilla bean fragrance and you can immediately recognize the fragrance. I really like the fragrance because it is mild.
The lip balm gives enough moisture to the lips and is very comfortable to wear. In spite of its slightly thicker formula, it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. It makes your dry lips moisturized and smooth. I really like this lip balm.
