I am so excited writing my first post ever on IMBB. Today I am writing a review on Eye balm by ALGENIST.

My Skin Type: Combination

How I came across this product:

One day, I took an appointment at Sephora for skin consultation and it is free as long as you make a purchase in store. When I walk in, a store staff welcomed me and she handed over me a bunch of papers, which have lot of questions about what kind of products do I usually use, how long I have been using them, how do I feel after using the products etc. She then showed me different type of cleansers, moisturizers and she tested them on my skin and she took feedback of those products. In the end, she saw my under eye circles and she said, “ Your face is perfect but your zombie eyes are killing that perfectness”. I must say she is true. I have very dark sagging skin with fine lines and wrinkles. Then she recommended the ALGENIST Complete Eye Renewal Balm, which is super expensive to buy. I was hesitating to buy it at that time, but I bought some of the other products, which she tested on my skin. She really wanted me to use the Eye Renewal Balm, so she threw 5 samples in my Sephora bag.

My experience with Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm with Alguronic Acid

I started using the samples as soon as got back home. After using it for a couple of weeks, I clearly saw a difference. Dark circles are slowly lightening up and miracle, my fine lines are gradually fading out. Bonus, bonus, this product is not only helping to cover up the imperfections but also it conditions the eyelashes. I wonder why it is named as “Complete Renewal Balm”? But now I know. As soon as I saw the changes, I struggled for myself to save up some money to buy this product. This is my 4th bottle I am using now and I am so happy with it.

How to Apply:
There is a strict way which I follow when applying an eye balm.
– Apply a small amount of balm for both of your ring fingers, and just dab around your eye circle. By applying this way, you are doing yourselves a favor!
How? Well, most of the people, including me, I use to go by back and forth directions around my eye which is a wrong way to do it. Because I am pulling the most sensitive skin in either directions which causes wrinkles.
