My Experience with Alverde Organic Brazil Nut and Rosemary Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:

This shampoo contains Brazil nut and organic rosemary. Brazil nut has anti-inflammatory properties and it also contains selenium, omega 3-fatty acids, and vitamins C and E. It also promotes growth and repairs hair strands. Rosemary helps with hair growth and prevents baldness, slows hair greying and treats dandruff and dry scalp. With so many benefits it sounds like a boon. Read on to know if it’s really effective.

The shampoo does not contain glycerine, which is just perfect. The consistency of the product is like any other shampoo and it is not too liquidy. It is transparent and looks like a gel. The shampoo smells very, very different; the scent is neither floral nor fruity. It smells of rosemary, which is very relaxing. The fragrance does not last on hair after the shower. This shampoo comes in a very sturdy packaging.

The bottle looks rectangular and has a flap lid. The bottle is white in colour with a picture of Brazil nuts and rosemary on it. It has a flip cap that opens and closes easily. The bottle can stand upside down so that the shampoo is readily available for usage. The packaging is quite different which makes it unique and attractive. The whole packaging is quite sturdy and perfect for travelling.

The only problem is that the shampoo does not have an accompanying conditioner. The bottle contains 200 ml of product. The shampoo foams up very well and rinsing it off is also easy. It does not need a lot of water to wash off. While rinsing off, the hair feels squeaky clean. The shampoo works very well in getting rid of all dirt and sweat. The shampoo also gets rid of dandruff quite well.

Alverde Organic Brazil Nut and Rosemary Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Cap

I would not say that it works wonders within the first few uses but at least the dandruff is not visible. The scalp feels clean and not itchy. I will continue using it until my dandruff is all gone. I need a little more shampoo for my hair, which means the product gets used up much faster. The hair feels slightly dry after use. There is no conditioner from the same line, so I use something else. I wish there were a matching conditioner.

Alverde Organic Brazil Nut and Rosemary Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Swatch
