Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream Review

Hello IMBBians,

I often buy hand and foot creams to keep the dryness and cracked heels issues away. Since I use them often, I prefer to buy budget ones rather than binging on costly brands. I have used two foot creams from Balea and I like them and so, I picked another one during my visit to Germany. Today’s review is all about Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream. Read on to know more!

My Experience with Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream:

Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream Review Tube

The foot cream comes in a tube package. Since it has tea tree oil, the package is highlighted with green and also has a green flip cap. The cap closes tightly with a click and is very easy to close or open. The tube package is convenient when it comes to foot creams. The product comes unsealed and there is relevant information on the back but, it is all in German. The product is travel-friendly.

The cream is off white in color and is denser than a traditional foot cream I have used. It is rich and very thick but very soft and fluffy to touch. The smell is almost like a sanitizer. This is due to the tea tree oil and it feels very fresh. The fragrance is very pleasant and not very strong! I love the smell and it relaxes me when I apply the cream onto my feet.

The cream is recommended to be used twice a day. I use it in the morning after a shower and in the night before going to bed. I have a little dryness in my feet, so I prefer to apply the cream twice but if you have well-maintained feet, you can use it once a day. When the cream is massaged on to the feet, it instantly relaxes your feet and adds a cooling sensation. This particular property is very beneficial when my feet are tired. It instantly relaxes you and the soothing property takes your tiredness away. The product does take a while before it gets completely absorbed into the skin. It leaves a thin greasy residue behind if you haven’t massaged it for long. Usually, in the mornings, I rub my hands with the remaining greasy residue left in my hands for a short-period moisturization. A hazelnut size of the product is more than enough for each foot, and if you apply more, it leaves a white cast behind and needs a lot of work for massaging again!

Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream Review Swatch

My feet feel soft and moisturized instantly. The product soothes the dryness and cracked heels. It doesn’t repair the cracked heels but can prevent further damage to the feet. The product also smoothens the cuticles and any dry edges around the nails. I have no idea if the product prevents the fungal infection from Athlete’s feet, as I am just a basic jogger and not an athletic person, but I guess it helps due to the presence of tea tree oil which has antiseptic properties. The foot cream makes the feet feel fresh and removes foot odor. This can come as a benefit especially in the colder months when I wear closed shoes for most of my time! The product doesn’t cause any irritation. It does groom my feet well and nourishes them perfectly. One tube, according to my previous experience, from the same brand can last for 2-3 months on daily moderate application. The product, however, contains sulfates. The price is so cheap and I wouldn’t mind using more or picking them often! So, summing up:

Pros of Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream:

  • Nourishes and soothes the feet

Cons of Balea Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream:

  • Takes a while before getting absorbed into the skin

  • Doesn’t heal cracked heels
