Bath and Body Works Iced Blackberries Nourishing Hand Cream Review

I have another hand cream review for you all. 😀 And this one is also from Bath and Body Works. As you all know, I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works and I am hoarding hand creams from them like anything. And of course, constant sales on Bath and Body work is another excuse. 😛 So, here is another one.:D Let us move onto the review.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Iced Blackberries Nourishing Hand Cream:

I picked up too many creams from Bath and Body Works and this one is another pick, blind pick I would say since I ordered it online. Bath and Body Works Iced Blackberries hand cream comes in the standard Bath and Body Works tube packing with a flip open cap. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a click and the size of the tube is perfect for tossing it in your bag and makes the product travel friendly.  The image of a bowl full of iced blackberries on the tube makes it really attractive.

This Blackberry scent is very different, chilled and icy sort of scent. It is fruity but has some pungent notes as well, which I guess can be attributed to the presence of white ginger due to which I find it smelling a little bit like my hubby’s shaving cream. But then I guess, these gingery notes help in not making this scent a sickeningly sweet berry scent. When I first applied this cream, I smelled Blackberry scent straight away and then came the gingery notes. It is a perfect scent for the cold wintery days. 😉

The hand cream is white in color and has a smooth texture. It smoothes and moistens dry and cracked hands. It gets absorbed instantly and does not make your hands greasy. Also, after using BBW hand creams for so long now, and also so many different scents, I have noticed that they make hands soft and smooth after application but that is not long term. They don’t heal very dry and chapped hands.

They are really good for application through the day, but I don’t find my super dry hands smooth and soft in the morning when I applied this cream at night before going to bed. So, those with very dry hands would require more intensive treatment for night time. But yes, if you have soft hands, this cream is a good pick for you.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Iced Blackberries Nourishing Hand Cream:

• Contains parabens.
• Reapplication is needed every time you wash hands.
• I am not too impressed with the fragrance.
• Comes in a single size.
• Doesn’t heal dry and chapped hands.
• Not moisturizing enough to be used as night cream (for dry hands).

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Iced Blackberries Nourishing Hand Cream?

Well, I have too many hand creams to finish as of now. But still, I don’t think I would repurchase this particular scent. Will be back with another review. Till then, take care darlings. 🙂
