Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Nourishing Hand Cream Review

Hand creams and lotions are absolutely necessary to keep our hands soft and skin glowing. The skin of hands, feet and neck is by far the most neglected part of our body. I am sure we would have come across many well groomed women, with lovely faces and unfortunately neglected hands and feet. So today I have come with the review of a hand cream by Bath and Body Works. The fragrance is warm Vanilla Sugar. Let’s see how this one has fared for me.

My Experience with the Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Nourishing Hand Cream:

This hand cream comes in a sturdy tube packaging that is easy to carry around. One grouch that I have with BBW is the really inexplicably weird and miserly package sizes. I mean what is the deal with 59 ml of hand cream?!! Why not 60ml! It isn’t as if your product is cheap or anything!

The cream is very soft with a thick consistency. I use a pea-sized amount whenever my hands feel dry. The cream absorbs really quickly, but if you are too generous with the amount, it does leave a greasy feeling. So use little, it would suffice. Now I am a person who washes her hands at least 10 times a day, since in office we touch doors etc. which are bound to have a plethora of cooties on them. So judging by the amount of soap I use, my hands would just shrivel up if I do not use a good hand cream. I find this hand cream’s moisturizing capability as medium. It does keep my hands hydrated and soft, but despite better consistency, it does not match the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour hand cream.

The fragrance of this hand cream is by far the best among the other products of the Warm Vanilla Sugar range. It is soft vanilla which is an awesome fragrance to sniff. [Repeatedly :P]

Summing up the pros and cons for you:

Pros of Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Nourishing Hand Cream:

  • Decent moisturizer for your hands.
  • Nice fragrance of vanilla.
  • Inexpensive.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Nourishing Hand Cream:

  • Has a truckload of chemicals like other BBW products.
  • Not suitable for very dry hands.
  • Availability is an issue.

IMBB Rating: 3/5

Final Verdict Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Nourishing Hand Cream:

It’s an average product that I suggest you stock up whenever on sale. I personally would not buy this one again as it did not wow me…maybe some other hand cream with a great fragrance from BBW works would be my next pick. Please suggest a hand cream for me that is both heavy duty and smells great.

  1. The name makes it sound perfect for winter time…but like you would need something my heavy for our dry winter months.
