If you have been reading “contact color lenses” posts of mine, you would have seen that I have reviewed the “Brown” variant on IMBB previously from Bausch and Lomb. I prefer wearing “grey” and “brown” contact lenses all the time, but occasionally, I do buy hazel lenses. This navratra season, pairing colored lens with my makeup is a must for me; without color lenses, my eye makeup is incomplete. I opened up this pack of “grey” lenses recently. Check out if it blended with the festivities or not, more details follows 🙂
Bausch and Lomb Lacelle Color contact lenses has a unique lace pattern and uses non-iconic material that blends seamlessly with natural eye color. These contact lenses comes in 5 beautiful colors grey, brown, blue, aqua and green. So explore the new you at every glance with these stylish Lacelle colors.

My Experience with Bausch and Lomb Lacelle Circle Soft Contact Lenses Grey:
Grey can be really cool toned sometimes and also really scary and stark too. This grey is somewhere in between the Freshlook grey and the previous Lacelle grey that I had picked. I have tried Lacelle colored lenses in Blue, Brown and Grey previously, but they did not have darker outer circles around the lens which would make your eyes appear bigger. This is reason I tried the “circle lens” from the same brand. These differ in packaging as the Lacelle Colors range comes in a smaller purple cardboard. The circle lenses come in such a cute pink rectangular case. After all, first impression is the last impression!
I love this pair of lens, but sometimes, I find it slightly cool toned for me. This is definitely not meant for festive warm makeup, so I think sticking with brown lenses is a good idea. Although I would love to pair this with pink lipstick and pink blush, this will definitely need a western outfit to along with, maybe a black dress!
This is not my favorite lens to wear with lehenga. I find the lens comfortable for a month if I take good care of it with solution and cleansing. You have to change the solution everyday. If there is any fine shimmer or dust particle in your lens, it can bother you the entire time that you wear the lenses, so cleaning is very important. I advice you apply makeup after inserting your lens in the eyes. Also, use moistening eye drops often if you are a lens user.
Overall, I would recommend this pair of lenses to cool skin tones with some pink undertone in their skin. If you have a yellow base or tone to your skin or if you are warm or dusky, this is not your shade. Try the “Brown” circle lens instead. Yes, it does make your eye balls look bigger.
Pros of Bausch and Lomb Lacelle Circle Soft Contact Lenses Grey:
- Nice color for cool skin tones.
- Makes eyes look larger with bigger eyeballs.
- Looks good when paired along with any grey or smokey makeup with cool-toned shadows.
- Comfortable to wear, easy to take care of.
- Gives an appearance of Korean “doll-eyes look” due to the darker rim on the lens.
Cons of Bausch and Lomb Lacelle Circle Soft Contact Lenses Grey:
- Only a month of usage is what you get out of this pack.
- Care and cleaning is most important, especially if you wear eye makeup (it might stick to the lens).
- This is meant for cooler skin tones, dusky skin will not carry this well.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Bausch and Lomb Lacelle Circle Soft Contact Lenses Grey?
Yes, I find it natural enough for me and comfortable to wear. I am certainly trying more shades from Lacelle.
