My Experience with Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Eclair:

Packaging: The packaging of this lipstick is adorable. They come housed in a beautiful dark grey matte square tube with a color-coded strip at the bottom, making it easy to identify the shade easily. There is also an light grey cardboard box which contains the product details and the ingredient list. The shade name is written at the bottom of the tube. There is a regular doe-foot applicator that helps in proper and precise application of the lip color.

Shade: This collection comprises of 12 food-inspired shades. The names range from Braised, a pinky-red hue, to Whip, a buttery peach which provides full-coverage creamy colour without any harmful ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals or phthalates. The shades range from nudes to deep maroon with everything in between. “Éclair” is a everyday soft pink shade. It is a gorgeous everyday kind of shade that will suit light to medium deep complexions.

Formula: The Bite Beauty Liquified Lipstick has a gorgeous creamy feel with what they describe as a “semi-glaze” finish. It was designed to be nourishing on the lips, using natural ingredients like coconut oil, monoi butter and citrus flavour, to ensure that the formula glides on the lips smoothly leaving a creamy feel that hydrates during wear. It as a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a satin finish lipstick. They feel luxurious on the lips, with a really soft touch that doesn’t ever feel heavy or sticky.The lip color is incredibly pigmented and spreads evenly across the lips. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips. They do have a scent which is super fresh and fruity, nothing too perfumed or overwhelming.

Wear Time: This is not a traditional liquid lipstick which we usually expect, it’s not liquid to matte, but it’s a true liquified lipstick. The formula offers full colour, comfort and satin finish. Because it is not a matte formula, it is not transfer-proof, but that’s okay with me. I still get good wear time, around 5 hours. They do fade a bit after a meal and it is even.
