In my stash of eye shadows, I have plenty of shades and some of them are repetitive, but what I didn’t have was an olive green shade. Today, during my trip to Walmart, I came across these new eye shadows launched by Black Radiance and even though my previous experience with this particular brand is not so good, I still went ahead and bought this trio because I wanted an olive green eyeshadow shade. My Take on Black Radiance Urban Identity Shadow Trio:
Packaging: For not a higher-end brand, the packaging is commendable and even better than some higher-end ones. The product comes in a thick plastic case with a clear lid. There are three varying shades of olive green and they are neatly packed in square sections.
Texture: It is a powder eye shadow set in a cake form, but it’s very smooth and easy to apply. Even the shade with mild shimmer is smooth and does not feel gritty.
Color: Dark olive with shimmer, light olive with mild shimmer and matte military green shade.
Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look.
Wear time: 5-6 hours after which it starts to crease. The staying power can be increased with use of primer or white eyeshadow underneath.
Conclusion: This is a very good product for the money paid. Each trio pack offers varying range of shades which are sufficient to complete the look. The shades might not be that visible on dark lids hence one has to use a corrector or concealer and further layer with primer to make the colors more obvious.

Would I Repurchase Black Radiance Urban Identity Shadow Trio?
No, because these shadows will last me big time, but I would try out other shades. It’s worth a buy on next trip to Walmart.
