My Experience with Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream:

I would like to mention that besides having sensitive and combination skin, my skin tends to become oily during summers and dry during winters. I am sure most of us, have some skin issues with changes in food habits, weather and locations. I have been using Bobbi Brown Vitamin-Enriched Face Base and it is one of the best primers, I have used and definitely is a blessing for my combination skin. However, during winters when my skin tends to become extra dry, I need something more moisturising. I am already using Bobbi Brown SPF 50 Protective Face Base during daytime. However, I wanted to pick something for evening outings without SPF content, hence I opted for Bobbi Brown Hydrating Cream.

It is a light textured, white-coloured, soft and velvety cream. It comes packaged in a transparent glass jar, with a black coloured screw-on cap. This jar comes packaged in a white-coloured cardboard box. The packaging is travel friendly. I am quite comfortable using jar packaging, I use a spatula or clean fingers to remove the cream. However, this could be unhygienic and a con for some. Having tried Bobbi Brown Hydrating Cream for my eyes, I definitely wanted to try Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream for my sensitive and combination skin which tends to get dry in winters. This cream can be used for day time or evening outings. I usually prefer using it for evening outings. I apply it on thoroughly cleansed skin. Whenever I am using this hydrating cream, I can easily skip using a primer.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream

It helps prep the skin for applying foundation and makeup. It makes the skin soft, supple, even and one tone brighter. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive skin. Keeps skin hydrated and moisturised throughout wear time. It has a peculiar but very pleasant fragrance which is okay with me. I guess it is from one of the ingredients, my wild instincts tell me; it could be caffeine!

This cream has algae extract, which helps to intensely moisturise the skin. This cream has an in-built primer which plumps and preps the skin for wearing foundation and makeup. The only drawback is that it does not have specified SPF content, for protection against ultra violet rays. It does not cause any breakouts, at least during winters. I am definitely going to use this hydrating cream during extremely hot summers and if any issues will definitely mention in the comments below or mini review.
