I’m a lipstick hoarder, period. I love buying lipsticks, and they are my priciest possession in life. I wish to have at least 1 from every brand in the world. This time, I explored Bobbi Brown. We know Bobbi Brown for their shimmer bricks, concealers and correctors, but their lippies aren’t much talked about ones. I find Bobby Brown lipsticks extremely classy, though. So, I picked up two shades “Rose” and “Pink”. Today, I will be reviewing the shade, Rose.

My Experience with Bobbi Brown Lip Color Rose:
While I bought this shade, I was in that phase of life, when I only picked up bright vibrant colors, but no place for nude shades. I picked this one because it was a perfect brown-based nude shade for my NC 40 skin tone. I don’t have many brown lippies in my stash and, I don’t have an affinity towards brown shades as well but, I picked this one up instantly. My point is, this is such a great shade that even if you are not looking for it, you will not let it go. The packaging is as classy as it could have been. It’s a sleek and sturdy metallic black tube with a strip of gold in the center. The shade name is written at the bottom of the tube.
I have already told you how gorgeous the shade is. It has a characteristic mild smell, which takes us back to old days. The typical lipstick smell reminds of old times. To me, it is not bothersome as it goes away within a few seconds of the application. The texture is creamy, semi-matte and non-drying on the lips. After the meal, it leaves a stain on lips. Here is a picture to show you exactly how the shade looks among all the pink-based nudes I have.
A single swipe and, you get an opaque color payoff. It does not wash out my skin as well. When I bought it, I did not know why, but now, I know it was meant to be one of my most preferred office wear lipstick.
