Borghese Roseto B Gloss Lip Gloss Review

Hello sweet and pretty fashionista IMBB girls! Hope all of you are in the best of health and some of you must be enjoying moderate winter and some coping up with extreme cold like I am! I finally gathered courage, to step out and shop for some coats and cardigans from Zara and Mango; and honestly I get so confused by the wide variety nowadays, but happy with my shopping. That was all about my life, let’s move on to one more shade from Borghese B lip gloss, which it’s name is “Roseto”. So Spanish and such a cute name.

Borghese B Lip gloss Roseto

Product Description: (from website)

Glossy. Glassy. Luminous color-watt coverage that deposits the perfect blend of pigment and pearl for shimmer and shine that redefines luster. Emollient and rich this is a gloss that can go it alone or finish a look.

Price:

$19 for 0.21oz. My friend purchased these for me on $8 each during Black Friday sales. I have got 4 shades from her. So glad to have them; new products always attract me and find a quick niche on my vanity.

My Experience with Borghese Roseto B Gloss Lip Gloss.

Packaging: The Borghese B lip gloss range comes in really simple round tubes, with transparency to display the shades. They are light weight and close tightly, making them travel friendly. The lip gloss includes a doe-foot applicator with slanted tip, which is well-designed for a perfect and mess-free application. There is minimal description on the tube and even ingredient list isn’t printed.

Texture, pigmentation and finish: These lip glosses come in thick consistency and little bit sticky feeling, but not too much to irritate after application. With the passage of time, the stickiness subsides and so does the nutty fragrance after a minute of application. Really sensitive noses might have an issue with roasted nut fragrance of the lip gloss, but trust me, it stays for seconds only. The shade Roseto is a light mauve-pink shade. So considering a lighter shade, the pigmentation is praise worthy with nice opacity. One swipe deposits enough colour and the second one gives full coverage.

These lip glosses come in two types of finishes; lustrous and glassy or glazy with micro shimmers. The two I reviewed earlier belonged to glassy finish and this one contains micro-mini silvery shimmer particles, which gives a nice sparkle to the gloss applied. The lip gloss is extremely moisturizing on lips. Even chapped lips can feel the comfort provided by the moisture. The doe-foot applicator is a life savoir and you can apply the lip colour without any outline, with no messy or bleeding, smeared look.

Colour: Roseto is a beautiful rosy-pink shade, light in intensity and carries a hint of mauve too. The finish is glazy with micro silver sparkle. The shimmer is not OTT and even though I am not a shimmer gloss loving person, but still I have loved this gloss.

Longevity and transferability: These lip glosses doesn’t transfer colour to cutlery except for leaving a waxy mark. The only drawback that takes me away from giving it a higher rating is the poor longevity of the product; the colour vanishes in half an hour despite the fact that lips feel moisturized for 3-4 hours, even if you take a snack or coffee in between these hours. Let’s sum it up.

Would I repurchase/recommend Borghese Roseto B Gloss Lip Gloss?

Though I was a big ‘no no’ person for shimmery glosses, but I have fallen in love with this one and one more Tarte lip gloss which is sparkly too. Sometimes, the quality of the product changes your perspective. I definitely recommend it on sale prices as $19 feels over priced to me.
