Boscia Charcoal MakeUp Melter Cleansing Oil-Balm Review

Hi everyone,

In my opinion, cleansing balms are the best and the easiest way to remove makeup. I have used various cleansing balms and I like Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm and Tony Moly Cleansing Balm the most. The one that I am reviewing in this post is from Boscia – their charcoal cleansing oil balm which has also been named by them as “makeup melter.”

My Experience with Boscia Charcoal MakeUp Melter Cleansing Oil-Balm:

Boscia charcoal cleansing oil balm comes housed in a transparent jar with a black screw up lid. The name of the brand and product details are printed on the front and the rest of the details are printed at the back.

The scent of Boscia cleansing balm is similar to the whole charcoal range from Boscia. It is a fresh fruity scent which I personally love. The tub contains a black jelly-like product which converts into oil when applied on the skin. I massage a small quantity of this cleansing balm on my face and then take it off with the help of a cotton pad and then wash off any excess with lukewarm water.

This balm is quite soft to touch. After using this, I do not see any tacky feel or greasy residue on my face. It leaves no traces of makeup behind. I don’t use this to remove eye makeup because it blurs my vision for a couple of minutes though it does remove eye makeup and doesn’t sting or irritate my eyes, but I felt there was residue left behind when I tried to remove waterproof mascara.
