I have heard youtubers and bloggers rave about Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm for years now, but was never interested in purchasing one until I received a decent amount of sample with my purchase online. I have been using this little jar for a few days now and I haven’t finished it yet. I was so impressed that I went ahead and bought the biggest jar as well 😛
This beautiful cleansing balm is totally deserving of its (never-ending list of) accolades. Adored by the skin care savvy Ruth Crilly (A Model Recommends) and the ever-flawless Fleur de Force, Moringa Cleansing Balm makes for a relaxing and soothing skin ritual; melting away make up to leave skin ‘squeakily’ clean but ethereally soft. With wild sea fennel and vitamin E to rebalance, purify and reduce the appearance of pores, and extracts of jasmine and rose to restore radiance to dull, dehydrated and more mature skin types, this deep cleans to leave your face feeling wonderfully dewy and looking clear, ‘plumped’ and luminous. The perfect way to take the day off, this indulgent balm also doubles as a therapeutic treatment mask when applied to clean skin before bathing – just massage all over face and neck before soaking in the tub for ten minutes – the steamy atmosphere will open pores and help the gorgeous oils to penetrate and lock in precious moisture.
My Experience with Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm:
This cleansing balm comes housed in a 200 ml jar, the packaging reminds me a lot of Charlotte Tilbury skin care stuff packaging. The jar is transparent with a metallic screw up lid. The name of the brand and product is printed around the jar and the Emma Hardie logo is engraved on the top of the lid.
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm is a cult favourite product for many reasons and one of the major reasons is its ingredients – the cleansing balm has top-notch ingredients along with super moisturising oils in it. As I have mentioned above, I have been using the small jar for more than 10 days, yet I haven’t finished it yet, so you definitely need the tiniest amount for each time.
It removes makeup, dirt, and grime and leaves your skin feeling super smooth and hydrated. The texture of the balm is quite smooth. It actually feels like scooping out coconut oil in winters, it’s solid but yet soft.
I like to scoop out a little amount and massage it onto my face. This balm manages to remove all of my makeup (waterproof mascara as well) properly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.
I have been using Charlotte Tilbury balm for months now and I wanted to try another cleansing balm. I like the moringa cleansing balm more than Charlotte’s balm since I feel Emma Hardie balm removes makeup better than Charlotte Tilbury balm.
Using this Emma Hardie cleansing balm almost feels like giving yourself a facial in the shower. It feels luxurious on the skin and especially because the balm smells like spa. ?After using this product, I feel my skin needs less moisturisation than usual and feels softer and smoother.
I generally don’t tend to use foam cleansers since they make my skin much more dry, so cleansing balms and oils are the cleansers that I prefer for my dry skin. And since I have very sensitive and acne-prone skin too, I have to be sure that skin care stuff doesn’t irritate or cause acne on my skin and this one definitely does not.
Pros of Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm:
- Relaxing scent.
- Removes makeup.
- Cleanses skin and makes it softer and smoother.
- Skin needs less moisturisation.
- Fit for sensitive skin.
- Just a little goes a long way.
- Top notch ingredients.
