My Experience with Boucheron Place Vendome EDP Natural Spray:
Boucheron Place Vendome EDP Natural Spray comes packaged in a faceted round shaped bottle with a golden coloured spray and cap. The cap is crowned with a beautiful stone. This bottle feels authentic and artistic to hold. It is packaged in a white coloured cardboard box.
The packaging is definitely travel-friendly and is available in various sizes: 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml. Boucheron Place Vendome was launched in 2013, but I happened to buy it last year from duty-free shopping. I bought a 50ml bottle since no tester was available. As you all may have realised by now, I like using and collecting perfumes.
I love floral perfumes and love experimenting with different blends. Boucheron Place Vendome is a mixture of floral and oriental notes, wherein the floral notes are mild and woody notes are a bit prominent. It opens with a mixture of pink pepper, orange blossom and wild rose essence.
It has a heart of peony, jasmine and mild honey notes and ends with woody notes of cedarwood and benjoin. Place vendome is a perfect blend of notes; top notes last for a minute or so, middle notes are invigorating and automatically disappear, leaving a mild trail mixed with cedar wood, which lingers on for quite some time.
Even though I believe the dominance of woody notes is higher the final result is a perfect blend of all notes. It can be worn on pulse points and clothes. It’s an intimate essence and can be sensed by intimate people. It’s a good, daily use perfume and could be worn on special occasions as well. However, it is dressed artistically and the packaging is very appealing.
It has taken a place in my collection, but it is not “my kind” of floriental perfume. Hence, I would not want to repurchase it. The lasting power is mediocre, both on pulse points and clothes. Its price is also a con, but no complaints as it is Boucheron. I personally would have preferred stronger floral notes in this beautiful perfume.
