Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick – Rose Sensuel Review

Today, I am going to review one of my first peachy pink lipstick, “Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick in shade 03 Rose Sensuel.” I have recently been smitten with Bourjois as a brand and they have some really good products to offer. This is the first lipstick from the brand and I am sure there are more to come 🙂 So, let’s get started with the review.

The shade I am reviewing today is “03 Rose Sensuel.” Its a mix of peach and pink, but comes out more towards pink on my lips. You can view all the swatches of the shades here.
My Take on Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick – Rose Sensuel:
Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel lipstick comes in a very pretty transparent packaging with the shade color defined at the top with shade number and name mentioned on the bottom of the tube. The best part about the packaging is the small silver knob which needs to be slid down to open the lipstick; looks very pretty and classy to me! Sometimes, I do struggle to open the case due to this knob as I am not used to such lipsticks with this type of locking facility 😛 Due to this, the packaging is extremely travel friendly.
The shade is peachy pink which turns out more pink on my lips. The texture is quite lovely and moisturizing, it glides on the lips, there is no pulling or tugging. The pigmentation is quite sheer but buildable. The staying power is average and stays on me for 3 to 4 hours maximum and 2 hours with meals in between. The only problem I have is that when applied, initially, it gives a waxy feeling to the lips which fades away after a few minutes. The fragrance too is not that great, has again that waxy feel to it. The claim to keep the lips moisturized for 8 hours is a bit too far stretched, it keeps my lips moisturized for a maximum of 4 hours.

Pros of Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick – Rose Sensuel:
- Claims to be all natural.
- Has magnolia oil and shea butter which are good moisturizing ingredients.
- The shade is very pretty and flatters fair to medium skin tones more.
- The lipstick is moisturizing, hence no need to apply lip balm prior to application.
- The staying power is decent and stays for 3 to 4 hours on me without meals.
- Packaging is very attractive.
Cons of Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick – Rose Sensuel:
- Gives a waxy feel on the lips after initial application which fades away in a few minutes.
- Expensive for 3 gms of quantity!
- The slide down button is good, but initially, I struggled to make it work, so you need to get used to it 🙂

Do I Recommend Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick – Rose Sensuel?
Its a good lipstick but definitely not a must-have for me. Also, I feel the shade does not suit me well (my personal opinion). If you love peachy pink lipsticks, then do give this a try. It indeed is a pretty color and would look good on fair skin tones.

Suits u! I too have one from this range but sometimes it settles in lip lines 🙁 and I find it a bit overpriced too! 🙁
