My Experience with Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm Red Dahlia:
Burt Bees Tinted Lip Balm in the shade “Red Dahlia” comes in a regular twist-up standard lip balm packaging. The cap is color coordinated with the shade of the lip balm. The small tube makes it very convenient to easily carry it in my purse or put it in my pocket. The cap snaps on tight and stays put. The packaging is simple, sturdy and travel friendly.
“Red Dahlia” is a sheer reddish maroon lip balm. It looks dark maroon in the bullet but gives a sheer wash of red colour on the lips. The lip balm feels very soothing on dry lips. It gives a glossy finish to the lip. This lip balm is so moisturising since it contains shea butter and bees wax. It is a paraben-free product. The lip balm treats my chapped lips really well with regular use.
The lip balm is lightly fragranced. It is very mild and the fragrance stays only for few seconds. Burt’s Bees claims 8 hours of wear time, however, the tint fades away in 2 to 3 hours. The lip balm doesn’t survive heavy meal. You can easily reapply the lip balm without the need for a mirror. This is perfect for everyday use. Overall I really like the lip balm, it gives a soft and luscious lips.
