Burt’s Bees Moisturising Lip Balm in Coconut and Pear Review

Skin type: dry and sensitive

Hello Everyone,

As you guys know, I have moved to a completely different country. So, I definitely needed to haul more products to survive the different climate here. I recently purchased a ton of lip balms, since I am not much of a lipstick person. Lip balms are my go-to product no matter what place/climate I am in. I feel one of the most popular natural lip balms available in USA are the ones from Burt’s Bee. They have so many variants to choose from, so I picked up around 10 different variants and flavors. The lip balm I will be reviewing today is the Burt’s Bee Moisturizing Lip Balm in Coconut and Pear. Read on to know how the product has fared.

My Experience with Burt’s Bees Moisturising Lip Balm in Coconut and Pear:

Packaging: The Burt’s Bee lip balms come in an outer carton packaging. Nothing much to describe since these come packaged like any ordinary lip balm. The lip balm comes in a twist up bullet form and its sleek packaging makes it travel friendly.

Texture, Quality and Benefits: The texture of this lip balm is extremely smooth and soft, and it has amazing coconut fragrance. Since it claims to be 100% natural, it provides a very smooth application, in just one stroke which makes the lips feel moisturized instantly. It does not feel very heavy on the lips in the first application. I have extremely dry and parched lips which needs at least 2-3 swipes in order to bring them to life. It leaves a nice healthy transparent sheen to the lips. If you suffer the same issue like me, then this lip balm is definitely your answer. Quality wise, I feel this lip balm does justice to its claims and being 100% natural, what more could we need to convince us to buy this little thing. The soft buttery texture makes it glide on smooth, without any tugging or pulling on the lips.

I have never used anything so soft on my lips apart from the Maybelline Baby Lips. The only thing which can be a con is the absence of SPF in it. I guess other variants might have it but the sole purpose of this lip balm is to provide moisture. The staying power of this lip balm is average and does not need frequent application unless you have a habit of licking your lips in between.

Overall: If you are looking for a lip balm that helps heal extremely dry lips, then this is definitely a must have. Although, you won’t get any SPF or tint with this lip balm, it is a must have for beauties who are on the lookout for a remedy for chapped lips.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Burt’s Bees Moisturising Lip Balm in Coconut and Pear?
Definitely yes for both. It is a great investment, if you are a lip balm person like me. For now, I purchased too many other variants which may take time to finish, hence I won’t be repurchasing this any time soon.
