My Experience with By Terry Cellularose Moisturising CC Cream in Natural:
I love the sleek and undeniably beautiful packaging. It come in a tube with a pump dispenser hence it is very hygienic.
This CC cream is quite thin and liquid-y. It spreads and blends evenly onto the skin with little to no effort. It is best to apply this product with the fingertips to get the maximum product on the skin and avoid wastage. I found using brush or sponge tend to soak up more product than they deposit.
Coverage & Finish:
This CC cream gives Medium coverage (more coverage than a tinted moisturizer/BB cream but less than a foundation) and leaves behind a beautiful healthy luminous/satin natural looking finish. This CC cream provides adequate coverage for me since I do not have tons of skin issues. My main skin concerns are dullness and unevenness which this CC cream addresses. If you are someone who needs tons of coverage have major imperfections to hide, this will not be for you unless you use this product as a base and top it with another foundation (which would not be a bad idea as it will give you a glowing base).
I find this product to be very hydrating and moisturizing and it gives instant comfort to my dry skin. I do not need to use any moisturizer underneath this makeup unless I have really dry flaky patches. It did not sink into my pores.
This CC cream comes in only 4 shades, hence not a huge range of selection. I do find the shade 2 CC Natural matches my Light-Medium skintone (NW23) perfectly.
This foundation did last 7-8 hours on my skin. I do not feel the need to set it with powder upon initial application, but not doing so will results in my skin getting dewy and shiny faster around my oilier areas at around 5 hours. If you have oily or even normal skin with oilier T-zone you may find this product too hydrating and greasy for your liking, but if you do decide to use it ,it will be best that you use this product along with a powder to take away some of that excess moisture.
As with all By Terry product this product has a strong aroma of roses. The scent is not fake or chemical-ish, instead smells like a real bouquet of roses which I love. The scent does linger on the skin for some time. The biggest con of this product aside from the obvious high price is the lack of SPF. I would have loved if this was a product which made my life easier by cutting down steps in my makeup routine. It did cut out the need for moisturizer but I still need to use a separate SPF for day time.
Overall I do love this product. This has become one of my staple product for everyday wear. It is also ideal for days when I am going for a no makeup makeup look or simply am too lazy to do a whole face of makeup.I will recommend this but only for normal to dry skin.
