Byredo Parfums Gypsy Water EDP Review 1
Claims Gypsy Water by Byredo: Gypsy Water is a glamorization of the Romany lifestyle, based on a fascination for the myth. The scent of fresh soil, deep forests and campfires illustrates the dream of a free, colorful lifestyle close to nature.

My Experience with Byredo Parfums Gypsy Water EDP
If you remmeber I reviewed Sunday Cologone from Byredo a while back. That was for mr Husband. For myself I picked up Gypsy Water. I think I really got fascinated b y the whole story of Roman Lifestyle. I picked this up from my hotel boutique in Russia. No wonder. 😀
Byredo has probably my favourite packaging. A gorgeous little round bottle with a dome magnetic cap. I find it really aesthetically pleasing. Love it. I live for citrusy fragrances. This has top notes of Bergamot orange and lemon. But it is not like your regular citrusy fragrances. It also has woody notes to it, which makes it very different from the rest of the citrusy perfumes I have in my collection. I mean it may sound weird but this perfume reminds me of a woman clad in long coat and taking a stroll among the forest on a cold winter day. And she is leaving that little memorable fragrance of her behind as she walks through. It is not very strong and it has a subtle “subdued-ness” to it.

It settles down to a little powdery fragrance with hints of vanilla. It is not a very feminine or girly scent. I’d say it is soft but not a masculine one either. I used a whole lot of it all through winter months but it is not my favourite fragrance for summers. It’s a little cozy fragrance. Unlike Sunday Cologne, this has an amazing staying power. It settles down a bit after almost 2 hours and then kind of stays on your skin until the next day. It’s unlike any fragrance I have in my collection. It’s not the kind of fragrance you’d reach out first because it’s not that ‘smelling good’ kind of a fragrance. But it is like your signature scent and something that would remind people of ‘you’. I absolutely love it for its uniqueness and would love to try more of Byredo perfumes. Can totally repurchase this one as well. Availability is quite an issue with Byredo perfumes. Definitley keep a look out for these at International Airports.
