No doubt she is talented and after popularity, she launched her beauty line including perfumes, shower gels and body creams in her name in the USA. At the moment, she has launched four collections. Celine Dion Parfum, Celine Dion Sensational, Celine Dion Pure Brilliance and Celine Dion Signature. I managed to get hold of Celine Dion Pure Brilliance collection. Let’s explore the Eau De Toilette from the range.

My Experience with Celine Dion Pure Brilliance Eau de Toilette:

Let me confess already sweeties, writing a review for an EDT is the toughest job for me. I haven’t got recognition for notes and my nose isn’t too alert for that. For me, perfume means either I like it or I don’t like it! Simple as it is. But, I will try my best to guide you about this fragrance.

Packaging: Celine Dion Pure Brilliance range is color codes as purple and golden. The perfume comes in a card box with the celebrity’s picture on it and necessary description and ingredient list. It’s an octagonal bottle with purple cap. There aren’t any labels on the perfume bottle except the word Celine Dion embossed on the cap. It needs to be carried around carefully to keep the cap in place.

Notes: The moment you open the packaging, a sudden splash of a feminine, fruity, floral and woody fragrance encircles you. The first impression is… wow! This Eau de Toilette claims to be an exhilarating fragrance with notes that are bright, effervescent, sensual and alive. Celine Dion Pure Brilliance perfume carries the following notes; Granny Smith Apple, Pear, Green Leaves, Freesia, Honeysuckle, Lily, Muguet, Musk, Peach Skin and Blonde Wood.

So, it’s overall a combination of fruity and floral, musky and woody notes. Head notes include Granny Smith Apple and Pear, making it to the like a list of fruity fragrances. Then there are all feminine and floral notes. The heart notes are purely floral; just my type. They include Freesia, honeysuckle, Lily and Muguet. The base notes are Peach, Musk and Blonde wood; again I love them completely.

Lasting power: The top notes disappear sooner, but the middle notes stay for hours. Say 4-5 hours on average when applied on pulse points of moisturized skin. Those who are perfume lovers and follow IMBB religiously must be aware of the fact that a perfume lasts far longer on a moisturized skin and on pulse points. The base notes stay for few more hours. Overall, the lasting time is around 6-8 hours on average and may vary person to person in my opinion. On fabric, it definitely last a day. It doesn’t irritate skin or stain cloths.

This is such a warm, wintery fragrance that when worn alone is enough to turn heads. I am happy with my purchase and usually, I stay loyal with my fragrance and revert back to them until they vanish from the market. So, my repurchase is entirely based on availability. If you sniff it in store or spot it online and have a passing thought of picking it up, go ahead. You will definitely like it. Ciao. 🙂
