My Experience with Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Waterproof Mascara:

I love brands that promise perfection and deliver. That’s the kind of experience I have had with Chanel. Chanel products that I tried have never disappointed me. Le Volume de Chanel is available in 3 colours – 10 Noir (black), 20 Brun (brown) and in North America, it’s available in Purple too. The one I have is 10- Black. I have used numerous mascaras in the past, and this has to be my favourite so far. Being a person with small eyes and a round face, mascara is so important for my daily look.

Most of the mascaras I own are the ones I tried at the store or heard or read about online. This waterproof one, however, was a first for me. I picked this up at Sephora thinking it’s the one I usually buy. Also, I didn’t know Chanel had released the waterproof version of its bestseller mascara. Nevertheless, I couldn’t be more satisfied.

I have used the original Le Volume de Chanel in the past. It has been my favourite for ages. The only problem I had with it was that it smudged easily. When I rubbed my eyes with my fingers or I cried or anything, my eye socket would be all black – happens with most mascaras. This waterproof version solves the problem. The mascara won’t budge till you use a remover to take it off.

Love the sleek black Chanel packaging. As the product description suggests, Le Volume de Chanel Waterproof Mascara is designed to include a patented snowflake brush which consists of a combination of both short and long bristles that are intended to lengthen and separate the lashes, eventually making the eyes pop. Who doesn’t want their eyes to pop? I know I’d love that – cool technology Chanel! This mascara equals fake lashes without the pain involved in applying the lashes.

I’d like to add that the mascara dries super quickly, so there’s no need to wait for your lashes to dry. A problem that I faced with some of the mascaras I used is that the product inside started drying up over time. Le Volume de Chanel lasts for a long time and is retained in a perfect condition for as long as it lasts. This mascara is soo good, one of my friends’ recently asked me if I was wearing false lashes. It is really the most volumizing and dramatic mascara out there! It’s perfect.
