Today, I have got another cleanser for you all. We all trust Clean and Clear as a brand and have used their products for years. They target towards clearing up the breakouts and giving us clean and clear skin. When my hubby bought Clean and Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash for himself, he got this one for me, since this one is for sensitive skin. So thoughtful of him. 🙂 Let us see how this one fared.
Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin has an oil-free formula that gently removes dirt, oil and make-up. Formulated to cleanse without over-drying and reveal healthier-looking skin. This sensitive skin formula is formulated not to over dry or irritate sensitive skin. It gently cleans your skin by removing oil, dirt, and make up – impurities that can cause breakouts. And, this oil – free formula rinses clean, leaving no residue that may irritate sensitive skin.
My Experience with Clean and Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin:
The facial cleanser comes in a standard Clean and Clear bottle which is transparent in color. It has a bright purple-colored cap which has a lock system. The pump gets locked when turned clockwise which makes it leak proof. But the bottle is quite huge to be taken along on travels.
The bottle has a yellow-colored label at the back with huge numeric 1 written on it specifying that it is the first step in the cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine. The cleanser is transparent in color and has a liquid consistency. The cleanser didn’t foam as much as I thought it would. Even the name says that it’s foaming, but it’s not true to the name.
Also, it’s a pretty average product. Though it did not irritate my sensitive skin, it did not really give me the feeling of clean skin. Though as per their claim, it should wash away dirt and makeup, but I never felt that it even washed away my sunscreen. There was always so much residue and oil on the cotton pad after the toning step. 🙁 I generally use one pump of the product. Even using more quantity does not give any better effect. Also, sadly, it does not do any thing for my acne. 🙁 Though currently I do not have any major breakouts, but it didn’t help in healing/clearing the occasional pimples that I had. 🙁 Thankfully, it did not dry my already dry skin.
Now coming to the fragrance, it has a herbal fragrance which I do not like at all. It smells like nutmeg and cinnamon…grrr…I feel I am applying some garam masala paste on my face!!!!It’s awful. People who love herbal smell too might find it a bit strong.
Overall, this cleanser is not my cup of tea. Period.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Clean and Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin?
The product instructs to use it in 1-2-3 step of cleanser-toner-moisturizer. It might give better result if used in the series. But honestly, I am not interested. The fragrance is too much for me to handle. People who want a mild cleanser can definitely give it a try.
