Today I am reviweing probably the only shimmer lipstick that I have loved in this life so far, probably the only shimmer lipstick I do not want to finish anytime soon. I was so taken by surprise with this one, what should i say, I was thinking plum shimmer but it turned out so beautiful, really love this kind of shimmer pink it has given, a superb sophisticated classy shade. The lipstick from Clinique comes in a beautiful shiny metallic case which is heavy too, the cap has a matte feel and the bottom is shiny metal.It click locks in place, is super fun to own.You must get one of these for the packaging.

The site describes this as “mid tone blue red violet with white pearl” what should I say, I do see violet pink in it and some silver shimmer, the color is on the cooler side for sure but somehow it is a very classy color, something I might have seen pinky fair women wear, and it kind of matches with their cheek color 😛 if I pair it with a cool blush in a pink, this would look even better.

The color might feel slightly gritty to swipe, since it has tons of shimmer to it.The finish is shimmery but the lippy is on the sheer side, to see some pink you have to build it up honestly, or else it would be more silver. The color has shimmer but it does not twinkle,it somehow mixes well with the color.It is not opaque remember and is on the sheer side.

Staying power is decent, 2-3 hours, but the shimmer removal and spreading is the main issue here, with meals the shimmer smudges the pink in it gone, so this is the only think you need to check often during the day.Grit can be another issue you might have.

I recommend it to cooler skin tones, not to dry lips or else the shimmer would settle in the lip lines, pigmented lips can try it since they can build the color up.
