Colorbar I-glide Eye Pencil: Amethyst Spark

Most of you know about my love for colorful eyeliners when I reviewed a bunch from one of my favorite brand ie Faces. Today Ill be reviewing a stunningly beautiful shade from another of my favorite budget brand Colorbar! We all know how good the Colorbar I Glide eye liners are and I am sure everyone of us must have at least one from this range! Sometime back Colorbar had launched few new shades in their I Glide eyeliners and I got couple of them. The one I’ll be reviewing today is a gorgeous bright purple shade called Amethyst Spark.
Product Description:–
The I-Glide Eye Pencil defines like a pencil and glides like liquid eyeliner, with its smooth formulation, which gives your eyes rich colour in a single stroke and blends in easily after application. Lasts longer than 8 hours; does not feather or bleed.
My experience with Colorbar i-glide Pencil:
I got this eyeliner from one an online store during the Diwali discount and got it at whopping 25% off! The I-Glide eyeliners were retailing at Rs.350 but recently they have increased their prices to 399! Colorbar I-Glide eye pencils come in a silver box with the shade color printed at the bottom of the box. The box has all the details printed on it right from the complete list of ingredients, packaging and expiry dates, the shade name etc. The eye pencil comes of standard size again with the shade color on the bottom of the liner. This is really helpful if you have a drawer full of eye liners like me..that was exaggeration but you do get my point 🙂
The shade is the stunningly beautiful purple and reminds of orchids! It has micro pink and purple glitters which makes the liner even more versatile! This is the most prettiest shade of purple liner in my entire collection! The texture is buttery smooth and glides on eyelids. No pulling or tugging is required. Even though it has micro glitter the pencil goes on smooth and is not gritter or hard at all. The glitter is extremely fine to the point it looks like shimmer on the eyelids so not OTT at all and very wearable even during the day time.
The pigmentation is fantastic and you just need one swipe. The staying power again is very good and it stays on my eyes for 8+ hours or until and unless I remove it using a makeup remover. Once it sets the liner is waterproof and smudge proof so definitely an advantage for gals having very oily lids. It will not transfer or smudge. Overall I am in love with the shade and even though its a tab bit expensive I really feel its completely justified coz the quality is fantastic and very much comparable to higher end brands!

Faces eye pencils are available at all leading online sites plus faces has counters everywhere..shud not be that difficult to find them 🙂

i am planning this visit to mac for a long time now! hubby had agreed to buy one or two lippies and shadows, well he is in for a shock!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am off to Manila next week on some official work and I just cant wait to shop. Pretty excited about it..Ever since Colorbar opened in a mall close by I have picked up some nice stuff. I unfortunately didnt like te bright blue eye pencil. it smudged a helluva lot. was quite messry. this one seems much nicer.

looks sooo pretty on your eyes. I used to love their prunella a lot – a jewel toned deep purple. I need to bring back colorbar i glide pencils. They are such fantastic products. 🙂

Hi All,
I have purchased eye liner advanced color bar-glowing sapphire 010 and once i tried the tester in the store and i have tested in my hands and i have tried blue without glitter i have tried in the eyes.
I purchased this for Rs.450 last week product once i started applying in eyes the glowing sapphire 010.the color was amazing and the looks was also great but the next day it started irritation in my eyes and second time i tried today and my eyes started irritating as the glitters were moving inside the eyes.
Though the color is too good and awesome i hurts my eyes and really irritating and thought of sharing my views on it.
Tomorrow i am planning to check with customer care regarding this.
