Wrapping up the review of the Colorbar “Jelly & Shine” range with the review of the fifth shade from the Jelly & Shine range of Colorbar, here is shade 005 Plum Jelly.
Price – Rs 675/- for 3.8ml
My Experience with Colorbar Plum Jelly 005 Jelly & Shine Lipgloss:-
Starting off with the packaging, Colorbar continues to keep the outer silver paper carton with all details about the product. The shade name and number is mentioned on a color coded sticker on the outer carton. The tube is like the regular gloss tubes by Colorbar, nothing fancy, just a transparent tube with the shade name, number and dates mentioned at the bottom, on a sticker.
The wand is a bit long with a sponge tip applicator. One dip does not really pick up enough product, so a thicker sponge would have been more ideal.
The texture is super glossy and more like a thick sticky syrup. Moreover the pigmentation on the hand swatch is so light; imagine how it is on the lips. For my pigmented lips, I just could not show you the color on the lips; it just fails to show up. There is absolutely no pigmentation on the lips. Even a tinted pink lip balm gives more color to the lips.
If you are super picky about matching your lip gloss with the lipstick shade you can go ahead and buy this. Also, if you have baby pink lips and super fair skin tone, this might show up as a hint of color to the lips. In the lip swatch I have applied Mac Pink Treat lip liner and topped it with the Plum jelly Gloss.
The staying power is okay, ranging from 3-4 hours after which the lips remain moisturized but little hint of color also vanishes. Honestly I am not very impressed with the pigmentation particularly. Now if you are looking for something this sheer and glossy, go ahead and pick your shade.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar Plum Jelly 005 Jelly & Shine Lipgloss?
Umm..no! this range in total is a fail for me. I am not fond of glosses and when they are so sheer and slightly sticky, it is a big no no. If you are true gloss lover and like sheer touch of color to the lips, go ahead.
