Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick-Fushia Fix
Again, these wondefully staining that i shopped in wholesale! I know these stain and yet when the color is tempting, I could not resist and the sole reason is that I used to love these older versions of velvet matte lippies. Sigh! The formula has gone for a six now but I still have some faith. I sharing one such pretty pink color which is named fuchsia but is a pretty pink in person.

The packaging is very much like the NYX round lipsticks where the bottom has the coloring peeping out. I have never tried to open the base. The color feesl hard and need to swiped on and on to get some color. The texture is not soft or creamy but very regular, like you would not fall in love with the etxture after loving the color. I wish they were as smooth as the earlier ones and did not stain.
The color is named “Fushia Fix” but the shade is a very soft nice pink and not at all fuschia. The “oh my magenta” is a brighter one and more Fushia than this one.i love the color and nothing else about the lippy.
If only I could show you how it stains. After some time I had to use an oil-based remover and literally scrub my lips with the cotton wool. It just would not go. It was as if I ate a pink “pan” and that has stained my lips a hot pink. All these stain a hot pink amusingly.
Even the swatch stained my hand when I removed it. I had to massage my lips with some lip balm to get rid of the stain and sleep on it. In the morning too my lips were sore due to the removal procedure . Removing the stain off the lips made my lips sore and dry and so did the lipstick on its own, such discomfort on wearing a lipstick, I would rather not wear one.

Stay Away!Does the staining mean they are full of lead? Please enlighten if some one knows about it. I have a couple of more of these to review sadly!
P.S.: I dont know why they have spelt “fuchsia” as “fushia”.

pretty shade, I guess a lot of lipstick leaves strain. Revlon Moisturestay Lipstick also leaves strains. I know from a friend that all lipsticks contains lead. Test to check is
1. Put a swatch on your hand
2. Use gold jewellery and rub it on swatch
3. If the lipstick color changed to Black color; it means this lipstick has Lead.

Stains a hot pink…. ewwwwww i hate tht … i also miss those old shades 🙁 i had the old ones bt coz they expired i hd to throw them out… i still hv kept greek goddess ( in loving memory of the old ones) Lol….

welcome, I am happy that I am help. Thats is one reason that I am not a lipstick fan. As it directly goes in mouth. My ofc team mate husband was in cosmetic business and supplier. He told that 90% of cosmetics are fake let it be any brand. And no matter what ingredients are they have lead. Its always advisable to buy directly from vendor or from malls only for genuine product.

Well, If a lipstick stains, it doesnt mean it contains lead. it just has sum awful ingredients.. but shiny n shimmery lipsticks has lead contents… so its better to stay off them…
