Coloressence Color Mania Nail Paints Siren Red, Extrovert, Rusty Rage, Mystic Mauve, Pink Blossom Review

Hello everyone!

I had stopped at the Coloressence counter at one of the local shops and found a huge array of nail paints. I found that they had two ranges, one for Rs. 50 each and one for Rs. 100 each. I wanted to try some colors and I wasn’t sure about these nail paints, so picked up 5 beautiful shades from the Color Mania range. In fact, I started using them at least 10 months ago, and although they have slightly thickened now, I can still say, I love using them. The range is Coloressence Color Mania Nail Paints and read on to know which 5 paints I have picked up.

My Experience with Coloressence Color Mania Nail Paints Siren Red, Extrovert, Rusty Rage, Mystic Mauve, Pink Blossom:

Packaging: It is similar to Streetwear nail paints, just a bit smaller and boring. A square bottle with a black cap; along with the brand name and tagline written. It is travel friendly and the cap is sturdy.

The brush is a little thin, fans out evenly on the nails. Shade names are mentioned on top of the cap along with shade numbers. I picked up 5 pretty shades namely – Pink Blossom (M-77), Rusty Rage(M-30), Mystic Mauve (M-37), Extrovert(M-38) and Siren Red(M-20). There are 24 shades available.

The brush is quite okay, it helps in even and streak-free application. I prefer slightly longer brushes, but at this price point, I can hardly complain. After consistent usage, there has been product deposition and slight hardening on the brush, but I wiped it once with nail polish remover wipe, and it works better now.

The nail polishes take longer time to dry, so you need to wait for 5-10 minutes to ensure your nail paint has dried completely. Also, these nail paints can be removed easily with a remover, without any nail staining.

Let’s talk about the individual colors now:

Siren Red: Definitely my favorite. I love such bold s*xy reds and they suit everybody. It is very similar to Streetwear Bridal Red. The color is highly pigmented and in two swipes, it delivers 100% opacity. It stays for 5-6 days with negligible chipping even with moderate household chores. A top performer!

Extrovert:  Summers are incomplete without some tropical touch. This fresh light sea green shade would look great on fair hands and would look slightly tacky on tanned or dusky tone. It applies streaky and you need to apply multiple coats. It looks better with a top coat and stays put for 4 days with no chipping.

Extrovert

Mystic Mauve: I hardly felt it would look good on me, as my hands are tanned. With longer nails, it looks beautiful, but I would recommend this shade for fair-medium skin tones only. The color is a lovely lilac and it is quite opaque. I layer it 2-3 times for the superb finish. It goes smoothly and stays easily for 4 days before I notice minor chipping.

Mystic Mauve

Rusty Rage:  Rusty Rage is a copper metallic shade (doesn’t justify the name though) which would look good on a variety of skin tones. The color needs at least two layers, otherwise it goes very sheer in one coat. Stays for 5 to 6 days.

Rusty Rage

Pink Blossom: It’s a beautiful shade with a misleading name. Pink Blossom suggests a delicate pink shade but it’s a golden pink shade. It needs to be layered for an opaque finish as it applies patchy, but the color looks stunning. This is a color which is not very loud but gorgeous and if you want golden or copper shades for the wedding season, but are not happy with glittery or deep metallic paints, try this. It has a duochrome effect and I feel this shade would look beautiful on all skin tones. You can also layer it over a darker nail enamel. It stays for 4 days or so with no chipping.
