ColourPop is one of the most highly-hyped liquid lipstick brands on YouTube. Being a matte lipstick lover, I couldn’t stop myself from ordering these liquid lipsticks after hearing so many people rave about it. So, let’s see how this product fared.
$6.00 USD for 1 oz.
Product Description: Girl you hot now, but you’ll be looking more better in this deep violet wine.
How To Use:
Step 1: Make sure your lips are bare and dry!
Step 2: Apply matching lip pencil for a precise and perfected application.
Step 3: Apply Ultra Matte Lip with the applicator or your favourite lip brush.
My Experience with ColourPop More Better Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick:
ColourPop has rapidly become one of the most popular brands for liquid lipsticks. The quality of the product is fantastic and the colour selection is vast. There is a lipstick shade out there in the brand that will complement every type of skin tone and they are not extremely pricey like Anastasia Beverly Hills or Kat Von D liquid lipsticks. Also, these lipsticks are not available in India, I got these from my recent trip to the USA. I picked many shades from ColourPop and some other brands that are not available in India.
Packaging: The packaging is pretty standard, clear tube with holographic writing on the side – ColourPop Ultra Matte. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “More Better.” The tube has a silver cap. The applicator is a standard doe foot. The product comes in a white cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list.
Texture and Application: The texture of this liquid lipstick is very thin and liquid like. It dries to a matte finish within seconds once you apply it on to the lips, so if there are any errors during application, correcting them is a task. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips with ease. There is a chemical fragrance to the lipstick which personally doesn’t bother me. Once the liquid lipstick dries, it has a powdery feel to it. Even after the lipstick sets completely dry, it may transfer slightly… nothing major though. One important point that I would like to highlight is that before applying the lipstick, please exfoliate your lips, otherwise the lipstick when set would look crumbly. If the lips feel really dry, a lip balm can be used as a top coat. However, this will affect the longevity of the lipstick.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: The shade is described as a “deep violet wine” and is indeed a very stunning intense berry purple shade which will complement Indian skin tones. The lipstick dries to an ultra matte finish. This lipstick feels very comfortable on the lips.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 10 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start fading from the centre of the lips if you tend to eat oily meals. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off. This liquid lipstick can be easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.

Cons of ColourPop More Better Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick:
