Today, I am reviewing the eyeliner from ColourPop collaboration with Kathleen Lights. I will be reviewing ColourPop Crème Gel Liner in the shade “Mr Bing.” So, let’s see how this shade fared for me.

My Experience with ColourPop Mr. Bing Liner Creme Gel Pencil:
ColourPop eyeliners come in two varieties – gel pot and gel liners. There is a wide variety of colours ranging from dark black to cool blues. Everyone can find a shade that they love from this range. The eyeliners come in two finishes – matte and metallic. I personally find gel liners way better than gel pots.
This ColourPop gel liner comes in a twist-up white plastic pen with a white cap. The side of the pen has ColourPop written on it in golden letters. The product comes in white cardboard box.The packaging is very lightweight and travel friendly. The pen is super slender and sleek, which makes the storage easy.
The texture of the gel liner is very creamy for both matte and metallic liners. You need to be very careful while applying this liner. Due to its creamy formula, the liner tends to break a lot during application. So make sure you don’t twist up a lot of product during application. It takes a while to learn how to apply these liners without breaking them. The liner glides so smoothly on my lower eye. I find the gel based formula very comparable to high-end eyeliners. The glitter in the eyeliner is finely milled and you won’t find any gritty texture in this product. The eyeliner dries very fast and once applied, it won’t budge.
Kathleen Lights named this liner “Mr. Bing” inspired by a character Chandler Bing from my favourite TV show “Friends.” Mr. Bing is a true matte warm brown shade. This shade surprisingly doesn’t show up on my eyelid. This eyeliner is not that pigmented.
The liner is water resistant and it stays on my oily eyelids for 3 to 4 hours. It starts to fade from the inner corners first, but that can be easily fixed by reapplying the liner. These liners are very long wearing. I can easily remove this eyeliner with an oil-based makeup remover. I mainly use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and it works really well.
